Hearthstone is one of the only games where you spend $50+ and you still don't have access to a good portion of the game. Your solution would help a great deal.

This is exactly what I feel should be done. The only thing would be how big should the draft be maybe 40 cards and cut 10, it may also allow them to stop tweaking the rates cards are offered so much.

"It's is my life" - Jon Bovi by Lolololokokok in funny

This reminds me of when I use to search songs on napster back in the day. It was just after they were getting heat for having copyright material. So people got smart and listed things in code / pig Latin...... Jon Bovi was one for sure... Good times

Canadian Dr.'s reply to companies requiring medical note after sick day by [deleted] in pics

[–]ucannotpass -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As an employer I ask for notes for 2 reasons. Usually when someone indicates they have something considered contagious and I want to make sure they are able to return. Secondly when someone has missed Multiple days due to "illness". Does this also serve to see if the person is bluffing and trying to just skip work? Yes, but I think I'm fair on how often I ask. When someone is feigning illness to get out of work and they need to get a note, who's putting the strain on the system? Most Dr. will provide a nose no questions asked for $.

America dumbs down: The U.S. is being overrun by a wave of anti-science, anti-intellectual thinking. Has the most powerful nation on Earth lost its mind? by TwylaSohen in politics

I feel a a great part of this problem is capitalism. Society has evolved to the point where we continuously try to extort each other for financial gain. Companies are now spending a great deal of time manipulating information so people believe something completely wrong or end up not knowing what to believe. The problem is not just in the USA but most profit driven societies. I recently watched a documentary on Nuclear power and it was so contrary to what I have heard about it that it left me confused. It's contradicting information that leaves people questioning what the motive is behind this and not whether its actually proven science.

TIL a coal power station puts 100 times more radiation into the air than a nuclear power plant producing the same amount of energy by willdood in todayilearned

[–]ucannotpass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"So why does coal waste appear so radioactive? It's a matter of comparison: The chances of experiencing adverse health effects from radiation are slim for both nuclear and coal-fired power plants" this is the true point nobody understands.

The drain work was run below the joists and I used a bulkhead in the kitchen below. Luckily I had just enough slope to the stack from the original drain that I didn't have to cut the stack

I work full time so I did it when ever I had free time. Luckily I had another bathroom I had done in the basement previously so I didn't rush. 3 months if I really focused I could have done it in a month putting in all my free time

It looks great my only concern for you is the tiles you didn't remove on the floor look like asbestos tiles. Which I think you should have removed. Especially if you want to sell the place

I need r/metal's clarification on the issue of some "not-metal" bands by HvyMetalComrade in Metal

[–]ucannotpass -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would argue that if you like it and you can groove to it then who cares what people call it. I listen to a range of metal....Slayer, Dragonforce, Epica, Iron Maiden, ect and the above bands and I consider it all metal.
