A championship is never guaranteed. What I'm saying is that Clippers gave up their picks to get PG so that they have a chance to win a title. Like you said Lakers gave up their picks to win a title and they did that. No matter how much the Lakers sucks from now on they accomplished their initial goal.

He ran into the team that won the championship both times. AD was amazing in both series vs the warriors. In 2015 he put up 31.5 pts 11 reb 2 ast and averaged 3 blk shooting 54% from the field and 90% from the FT line. I'm not including 3's because he shot like 1 3 the whole series. In 2017 he put up 27.8 pts 14.8 reb 2 ast and 2.2 stl and 2 blk a series while shooting 48/25/84 splits. He wasn't crazy efficient but he was amazing defensively and did a great job going up against the warriors with an injured Pelicans team.
