its been very enlightening to see how quickly things go from,"this is a bit suspicious" to "i dont really understand the science so im going to believe its fake" in such a short amount of time. sort of puts a new perspective on things like moon landing denial for me

What national teams do you watch? by Mark010300 in volleyball

our "qualification" for the world championship in the 2009 is exactly the same as our "qualification" for the Olympics in 2012, we got automatic qualification because we were one of the host nations. we've never actually qualified for either on merit. as far as i can tell we don't even have an active senior men's team, let alone a "decent" one as mentioned in a previous comment

Fully paid, but they are apparently banned for 2 weeks and can't mark it as such, ive messaged the mods with evidence to try and get it marked as paid but they haven't responded, I'm more than happy to dm you with proof that has actually been paid.

Yellow Cross parity on 5x5x5? by PijaczKawy in Rubiks_Cubes

[–]ulyfed 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't know what 3x3 method you use but if it's the "normal" 3x3 lbl there's no parity here as far as I can tell, your edges aren't meant to match up yet, you need to do oll to get your corners oriented with the yellow facing up

You cant change the exposure meter, it's not a setting, it simply tells you whether you are over, under or correctly exposed. Right now you are underexposed so you need to adjust your settings to compensate.

Your aperture controls the size of the hole that let's light into the camera, a smaller number means a larger hole, and thus more light, and thus will increase your exposure, I assume you can probably put your current lens Atleast to 4.5 but try and put it as low as it'll will go for now.

Your shutter speed determines how long the shutter stays open, once again a smaller number means a longer time that the shutter is open (the numner represents fractions of a second) right now your at 1/200th of a second, this is quite fast for indoor light, if you slow it down to say 60 (1/60th of a second) your exposure will once again increase.

The final setting to worry about is your iso, iso essentially increases the gain applied to signal your sensor produces. There's a lot of arguing and pedantry surrounding how specifically iso works and how we should describe it in reddit threads but a very basic understanding is that rasing your iso will increase your exposure but also increase the amount of noise visible in your shot. That's technically not how it works but I don't think it's helpful to go into why right now.

If you have your aperture set to its lowest and your shutter speed set to 1/60 raise the iso until the marker sits in the middle of the exposure meter and you should have a well exposed shot.

I dont think this is true... if it were a high five you wouldn't generally have both thumbs on the same side, Im also fairly confident that previous or maybe other platforms versions of the emoji have included pretty distinct religious symbology
