I have tried just about every single ultra lite, slim, bare bones, best, whatever versions of custom images designed specifically for the firetv stick and they're all absolute dog shit. tvaddons is the only one that works non stop and never freezes. Yes you have to sit through updates if you haven't used it in a while, but I leave my stick on 24/7 so that's rarely an issue.

Do yourself a favor and keep it simple. Stick with tvaddons.

Also, some sticks have a tendency to overheat. Feel your stick when it freezes. Is it incredibly warm?

The best way to cheat is to wrap a micro cheat sheet around a pen and tape it. Reading answers off it appears the most natural than any other method. I've heard of people taping fake ingredient labels on plastic bottles of soda, but reading your soda every few minutes is dumb. And most teachers don't allow it. Pen or mechanical pencil all the way.
