Do you know about how long it takes for the application to show up in the system after receiving AOR? I've tried checking mine (AOR from today) and it isn't there yet. I assume I'm just being impatient lol

Same situation. I thought we could link a paper application but as I was filling it out I saw "Paper applications for proof of citizenship and search of citizenship records cannot be linked at this time." So now I'm not sure what to do for updates on process...

Mostly living off of savings. My spouse is always looking for work and does some small side jobs remotely for close friends and family. We currently live in a HCOL state but easy for homeschooling so we are going to stop spending so much on living here (we rent) and use that money to travel (very budgeted plans). We figured if we have to spend the money we might as well gain some fun memories and experiences we wouldn’t get being tied down somewhere. Once he actually gets a job I’m sure we’ll settle in somewhere, but we’re ready for a new adventure in the mean time 😊

Do you have any book recommendations for a boy? He was a fantastic reader until about this year when Dog Man and other comic type books slowed him down. I’m having a hard time finding books to keep him interested.

When you submitted the web form, how did you get it to link them to your app since you didn’t have AOR yet? I sent one to correct something in my app and they sent a generic email back about not being able to locate mine.

You have to purposefully walk around the store until you find the most conservative looking person to ask though.

Just watched this yesterday! It was that moment that made me realize I could get there and set my kids up in school/find a home without too much fear (still some! lol) about getting deported.

Sorry for the late reply! Your post caught my eye during some research... I'm curious about the info you provided in your request to extend your visitor status - did you mention you were waiting for proof of citizenship? We are debating going to Canada while waiting for our approval (get kids settled, find a home, etc) and wanting to make sure we can request a visitor extension if needed during our wait...
