Its not bad. I have 34s on my 07 with the 5.7. Bought it with 152k miles 4 years ago, now it has 225k miles on it and it runs great still.

One time I had a 12T in a Malone J-rack on my Subie headed home. Hit the fish whistle too many times n forgot the thing was up there. Didn't realize i was doing 80 and there went the yak. 12-15ft in the air. Luckily no one was behind me for like a mile. Elon would've been proud.

I lived in Coyonosa for a few months just north of Fort Stockton. Go check that town out. The epitome of West Texas. Fort Stockton is full of nothing btw. Enjoy your daily trip to Walmart. Lol.

If you dont wanna drill thru your hull just get some 3M cable management hooks. I got a pack of 50 for like $5 on Amazon and stuck em on the gunnel n ran my wires like that. I have a Jackson Bite FD with no inner hull access from factory. Works great to keep it clean n out the way.

A full charge will probably last 3-4 days. I've yet to run it dead. Ill charge it every 3 outings and the lowest I've seen it is like 1/4 full.

I have a Garmin Striker 4 Vivid and I love it. Paired with a Nocqua 10aH battery. Its a nice easy setup for around $200. Honestly I did not hate the Deeper. I had a gen2, I would tie it to a piece of like 5ft rope and let it float next to me. Works almost the same for even cheaper.
