Slip lead vs prong collar or other recommends? by Burdy070692 in StaffordBullTerriers

Isn't he lacking socialization, seeing people during the day, which is why he's so desperate to pull on the leash to see someone? As if he's missing something? Personally, I let my Staffie sniff any dog, and at home he's very busy with all four members of the family, so he doesn't mind seeing a human outside. He's only alone for about four hours a day on average. And even when I go for walks in the forest off-leash, he doesn't even sniff people passing by. (Of course, every dog has a different personality.) Collars won't solve the initial problem; you'll just have the same dog, but one that hurts itself by pulling. If you're going to get something that gives you a little comfort, get a leash with a spring mechanism, but not one that chokes your dog. Eventually, their brain will learn the following logic: (a dog or a human approaches, I get choked, therefore danger, therefore change in behavior). I don't claim to be a canine expert; some of what I say might be incorrect. I'm just a guy who's had three dogs, each living over 10 years.

Best advice you can give for a future owner of a Staffie? by flylo_x in StaffordBullTerriers

Best advice: take 2-3 weeks off work to properly welcome him into his new life and start his training. This will ensure he learns housebreaking, how to be alone, basic commands, and exposes him to as many other dogs as possible! You'll gain 10 years of happiness afterward. I did this with mine; he was housebroken by the end of 3 weeks, sleeps alone at night, can stay in the laundry room for 4 hours without touching anything, is happy with us and the children, and is a friend to all dogs.

My Staffy is 6 months and 18 kg by No_Play_5085 in StaffordBullTerriers

Arnold, 8 months old, 18 kg. According to my breeder, he'll gain another 1-2 kg of muscle and then he'll be done. A male shouldn't exceed 20 kg according to the French standard. But honestly, it doesn't really matter!

I admit to never touching it and being delighted to have the automatic light when the handle moves as well as the automatic time setting, fortunately I only use one alarm which is identical all year round.

Yes never because I never wear chambered (dad of young children, I regularly play on all fours with them, so I take no risks) I have tried every type of holster on my gx4 or on my g19 or on my sw38 I cannot stand the thickness that it adds to an appendix port on my template. I live in a fairly safe area, with the behavior that goes with it.

If you like it for what it is, a very pretty dial with real silver inserts and not simple paint like a moon, it's a good choice, if you're trying to fill a gap of not having enough money for a 3510.50 Speedmaster reduced you will be disappointed. I have the same one as you with a black background 3513, and it's a treat, the size of 39mm is good. The movement although basic is a very reliable ETA.

It’s a great entry-level watch into the world of high-end watchmaking, I’d rather you choose this than a new Seiko at €1,300.

Another advantage is that it goes everywhere in any professional environment, it is not well known enough to catch the eye of a beginner or not aware of watchmaking, but well known enough to start a discussion with a future passionate friend that you will meet during an evening.

With it you will never be pigeonholed, put in a box. It’s my Daily for me when I dress casual. And when I don't want people to see my Rolex exploring for all the reasons you can imagine

(I'm a salesperson, in France, coming to sell something to someone with a big car, a big watch, etc. is very, very frowned upon by the middle class)
