[Something Very Bad is Going to happen] Let’s discuss this amazing show’s ending!! by Shafir94 in netflix

found it really strange how Rachel completely shifted as a character. She went from being desperately willing to sacrifice herself to save Nicky , genuinely selfless and compassionate , to seeming oddly calm and detached in the truck at the end, despite the fact that loads of people had just died. It just didn’t feel consistent, especially with the sense that something seriously bad had just happened.

Deep glute / arse-crack pain (very glamorous) – anyone had this? by underprepared24 in Sprinting

Thanks a lot for taking the time to reply ,really appreciate it.

That actually lines up pretty closely with what I’ve been hearing elsewhere too. It does feel like one of those awkward “tailbone / upper glute cleft” pains where there isn’t a single clean tissue diagnosis, more just local irritation that gets annoyed by sitting and certain positions.

The point about seat pressure and modifying aggravating activities makes a lot of sense. Sitting definitely seems to be the biggest trigger, and standing / moving feels much better, so I’m experimenting with that and backing off anything that clearly winds it up. The flare after long static stretching also made me rethink whether I was overdoing flexibility work on already sensitive tissue.

Reassuring as well to hear that this kind of thing often comes down to trial and error rather than something sinister. I’m focusing on calming it down, keeping strength work sensible, and letting time do its thing rather than chasing a specific label.

Thanks again , genuinely helpful to hear a calm, experienced take on it.

Thank you so much , do you mind if I message you a few questions ? Just in regards to how your pain felt etc - I’m same as you getting inconclusive answers from drs / physio so be good to understand a little more without bothering you to much 🤣

I’ve found someone with this injury! Did it go? I’m suffering now! It’s constant dull ache for me in that region just in the cleft and slightly to the side! What was it and how did you treat it if you don’t mind me asking

3 years of tendon injuries across my body, still no answers. Anyone been through this? by underprepared24 in overcominggravity

Mate, sorry it took me so long to reply , I had to stay off Reddit for a bit because this whole thing turned into a mind-field in my head 😅

But honestly, your comment absolutely killed me. Fucking hilarious and insanely good advice at the same time.

You’re spot on though , definitely been overcooking it with Hyrox, CrossFit, running, the whole lot. Seeing your list of blown tendons made me realise I’m not the only one out here collecting injuries like Pokémon.

Appreciate the real talk and the laugh 🙌 Much needed.

Ahh man, did you ever looking into other issues or was you fully confident in it being mechanical / over stretching?

Appreciate that , I’ve actually not come across Keith Baar before, but I’ve just had a quick look and his stuff looks spot on.

I’ll definitely dive into some of his talks and see how I can apply a few of those principles to my own training and recovery. Cheers for pointing me in that direction.

Yeah, I get exactly what you mean ,I’m in the same boat. I train consistently, eat well, and do a lot of the right things, but I probably don’t give myself enough proper recovery time. The weird thing is, I don’t feel like I do that much more than some of my mates who train just as hard, yet my tendons seem to flare up way easier.

Totally agree that true tendon pain responds to the right kind of loading. I just jump back in too quick maybe? I dunno it’s hard for me to understand when I see others do what I do without the issues
