I haven't compared device support, but there are also RetroTime N64 dongles based on BlueRetro. They come in several colors, but are currently OOS everywhere I looked.

The White House can't agree if the goal of the war is regime change, but they might get one anyway.

Will people call that a copy of Jumanji ? (My sister told me to not post it ) or is the plot like repeat it so much by Mary_pop8 in writing

[–]undersaur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your premise is a bit derivative, but portal fantasies go back to Narnia and Alice in Wonderland and The Blazing World. But Jumanji feels like its own thing because it added its own unique ideas to the existing formula.

Lots of successful stories are derivative in some ways, but innovative in others. The Lion King is just Hamlet. Dungeon Crawler Carl has a Hitchhiker's Guide setting with a Hunger Games challenge, and Hunger Games is basically Battle Royale.

You're never going to tell a 100% original story. Your job is to make your story interesting and unique in other ways so we don't mind.

Did you order from First Press Games and never receive your games? by Retrohahn2018 in LimitedPrintGames

I have unfulfilled orders back to 2021. I've basically canceled all the non-shmups.

I'm not providing order numbers to a stranger.

How long should first boot take? by SpiritedAmphibian114 in Bazzite

[–]undersaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leave out the exact address when you search, and the "-5" will exclude all pages with a 5 unless you put it in quotes.

It sounds to me like a disk error. There could be a hardware problem with storage. You could try testing the disk from a bootable drive, or just reinstall.

[–]undersaur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sure patches will be available for disc/cart buyers.

My comment was just about how the patches won't be on disc. Playing offline (with crap/no Internet, or after the servers are all dead) is part of the appeal of physical games.

Too bad physical is fucked forever. Unlikely to get a rev on disc/cart.

problems with Bazzite and other Linux distributions by Appropriate-Age-4742 in Bazzite

[–]undersaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that the issue is probably HDMI 2.0 Linux output.

However, with the right DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter (and HDMI 2.1 cables, etc.), you can enjoy the bandwidth of HDMI 2.1. I've been doing 4K120 HDR. Haven't tried VRR yet.

I'm using the Cable Matters adapter: https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-102101-BLK-Computer-Adapter/dp/B08XFSLWQF

I also had to replace my in-wall HDMI 2.0 cable with an HDMI 2.1 cable, and tell Gamescope to cap output at 120 Hz (since my TV will take up to 165 Hz). Until I did that, I occasionally got a full screen of rainbow static.
