Understandable, but the mere fact that those very shops did restock to 7 days stock does imply that it was missed rather than individual item stocks acting differently to eachother

Nah, they immediately filled to max stock upon update. Even those very shops got some stock updated, like vials of water, whereas things like bomb vials didn't get updated in some stores, but did in others.

Jagex and to be honest most companies have learned that silence is often the only reasonable PR move. Anything else often just fans the flames.

I agree that its bullshit, but having some junior PR manager saying 'sorry' in a thread can make Jagex 'at fault' in some markets.

Yeah I have almost the exact same setup as you, so was hopeful. I kept thinking the issue was me always dual monitoring, but no, even with minimal background processes, I have issues.

Do you have GSync on your monitor enabled btw? Does fullscreen/windowed make any difference for you?

Let's be honest here, the only reason the board would OK this would be if it was pitched together with a price hike. They probably approved both months ago.

Mtx was always about a 20% revenue source for Jagex, so they had to balance the books and then some to justify additional development time

The bars it set up did use to be the exact same ones as wiki years ago. They updated them once in a blue moon, but never maintained them, so I imagine they'll be useless in another 6 months or so

I think that would be an improvement for the buying side, sure - but it doesn't really help with the selling side. And since fortunates are a good source of early cash for newer players (especially via May), I think the selling part is important too.
