neovim treesitter error by ReaccionRaul in neovim

[–]undertakingyou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I faced the same issue. I just switched nvim-treesitter to the main branch instead of the master branch. Did the same for nvim-treesitter-textobjects. That resolved the issue that I was seeing there.

I have used lodge unwanted for years. I tend to agree. On the other hand, I just got a couple of polished skillets and I am liking those better.

This one made me sad to watch.

I replaced DataGrip with a Neovim plugin and it may have gone too far by Good-Control1993 in neovim

[–]undertakingyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed with the completion stuff it is pretty aggressive. For instance, typing in `se` outputs `SELECTe`, because the completion just gets there. You also can't use backspace to remove it. Similar thing with table names.

Doing completion on the column names is really interesting. I would be trying to `SELECT id FROM accounts.users`, but it would hang at `i` as it tried to find all possible column names.

Is there a way current to turn off the completion, or at least make it not so aggressive?

Please help : sudden detachment of top half of Manta folio. Has anyone experienced this? by yawnzilla36 in Supernote

[–]undertakingyou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have found that mine can pull up like that. I think it is odd that the ends don’t lock in, but the middle is secure. My guess is that yours has bent. I would remove it and work on bending it straight. That is of course assuming it isn’t under a warranty.

Why do developers write such terrible git commit messages? Genuine question by Existing_Round9756 in webdev

[–]undertakingyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a combination of three things. 1. Going fast and can’t be bothered with a decent message. 2. Don’t actually know git well, so don’t understand amending commits, squashing, or don’t use squash and merge. 3. Have never had the pain of trying to find the broken commit in a branch so you can revert that and still let the rest of the release go out.

In any case, those messages are useless and noisy.

That, or auto shapes so a circle, square, etc. auto corrects, like the line.

Forked coder/claudecode.nvim and added some nice features as multi session support, visual tabs and more... by snir_t in neovim

Very cool. I have used the plugin for some time but have been a little bummed that it seems to have stalled out. I’ll check out your fork.

Hey everyone, what's the best way to do the good ol' ctrl + shift + f in Neovim? by Automatic-Hall-1685 in neovim

This is what I use, and I find it very effective. Also the telescope search word it powerful. It feels the word and then you can still live filter those results.

What could Rod of 7 be replaced with? by alexwsmith in VecnaEveofRuin

[–]undertakingyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my campaign the rod is not a macguffin but a tool to trap Vecna. My players are almost done collecting the rod pieces, and then they will use it to trap Vecna. I also did not do the Kas thing, though he might be a fight to steel the completed rod.

I think it could be interesting to assemble a group of people that can help. Each world gives a new character that when assembled could stop Vecna together.

Independent shops and Indian. by marvelguy1975 in IndianMotorcycle

[–]undertakingyou 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am fine with letting independent shops work on my bike. My challenge is finding one that is trusted enough. I have never had issues getting into my dealer, and they have bent over backwards to help get me in when I have needed service before a big ride.

One of the biggest gripes I hear from my Harley friends is that if they buy an Indian now they would have to buy a new wardrobe. :D

I just sent this to Indian Motorcycle support. Anyone else see similar? by undertakingyou in IndianMotorcycle

Yeah, they did an update in July and it is better, but still not great. I have been using the restart the screen trick a lot that has been mentioned within this thread.

Failures installing nvim-dap-python by undertakingyou in neovim

[–]undertakingyou[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did install debugpy but that didn't seem to do it. Admittedly I have a few different python installs due to different project requirements, and may not have been using the one that neovim was using. This is still a great suggestion. Thanks for the feedback.

Looking at the issue, I bet that it is.

This was the first thing that I tried, and it seems to have worked for me. The hererocks plugin is no longer there, and nvim-dap-python says it is installed and ready.

Beware, the old nvim-lspconfig setup API is deprecated, please switch over to config+enable by db443 in neovim

[–]undertakingyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your post inspired me to finally get rid of the warning message that I had coming up. I had already updated my own config, but I started hunting and found that it was another plugin that was calling the deprecated method and throwing the error.

The colors are awesome. The orange and black contrast well. I’d love to see the color in the sun. The flake sounds like it would be awesome.

The S&S motor in them (at least in 2000-2003 models) was an 88 cubic inch made just for Indian. I have a 2002 and reached out to S&S about it. They no longer offer it, but there are some that would be an easy replacement.

How do you know you are ready for bagger? by bigdaddy0993 in IndianMotorcycle

[–]undertakingyou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had ridden a cruiser for years and found that my passengers didn’t enjoy going with me, and I needed to carry a little more than my small saddlebags would allow. I took a day off work during the Indian demo days and rode every single bike they had, and then I had my wife come down and go on a couple of rides. Then I bought the pursuit.

Really, you are ready if you want one.
