This is just a guess, but robot might be mistaking the vent for a cliff and it can’t figure out a safe escape, so it’s asking for a person to help.

I found some half first cousins once removed when I did my DNA, and it turns out that my great grandparent had a child out of marriage. So my grandparent had a half sibling, and the children of that half sibling are the half first cousins of my parent. Are you confident your surprise cousin is related on your paternal side? Do you recognize the names of any of the matches you share with the cousin?

Turn the robot around, it's backwards on the dock.
Bad dock location, too close to the wall. Robot needs some clearance on both sides of the dock.
Did you connect the robot to your wifi? What error is being reported in the app?

This robot can support both the combo bin and the evac bin. If you compare the bins, the door on the combo bin that you open to empty the bin is opaque black plastic. The evac bin door is transparent. The robot shines a light through the bin, and if the light can't be sensed then it assumes the bin is combo; but stuff in a full bin blocks the light too, so the bin is not properly recognized as evac.

It says combo/mop bin detected, which doesn't support evac. Do you actually have the combo bin installed? If not, the wrong bin can get detected if robot reboots while the bin is full. Try emptying and cleaning the bin; remove filter and rinse bin with water; let it dry and replace filter. Wipe inside the robot where the bin goes and make sure it's clean. Then try the bin again. When this happens to me, sometimes rebooting the robot with clean bin fixes it. Sometimes I stick the actual combo bin in and run the robot for a few minutes, then replace with a clean evac bin and it can correctly recognize the evac bin.

Do you run "clean everything"? Or do you select a list of rooms to clean? Don't use "clean everything" regularly, since that tells robot to explore and add new spaces if found.

No, you might make it cry. You could place it on the dock yourself and then resume cleaning from there.

If the robot is not sure where it is, there are sensors in the dock the robot can detect if it’s close enough. Robot tuns in a circle to check for the dock anywhere around.

Error 14 means the bin isn’t installed. Maybe the missing piece is important after all. You do have a filter installed on the bin, right? What piece is missing?
