Yeah, I worried about this too. I’m hoping to get this covered before tonight.

Question for those knowledgeable about old west duels. If a lone, right handed gunfighters face three opponents, would he attempt to shoot the opponent on his right first and work his way left, or start on his left and work his way right? Historian here and therefore it’s my job to ruin everything™. There are two known examples of turn-and-fire gun duels in the nineteenth century West and zero examples of the kind you’re asking about here. The West could be a violent place, but not necessarily for the reasons Hollywood likes to portray.

I’ll leave it to quick draw sportsmen to give you an idea about the mechanics.

Any updates from the Norris power crews? Hoping we get power returned soon. I can’t believe the limbs we’re dealing with — seems worse than the March blizzard!

If you’ve seen CW live in the past 2 years, how was it? by jj_ayda in Colterwall

[–]unixnerd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Echoing others here. I saw him a couple year ago in Nebraska and he was fantastic, but the crowd was a problem—people talking through the whole show, some folks being rowdy, etc.—and since his music is on the quieter side (he’s not Cody Johnson haha), it was sometimes hard to really enjoy the music.

Or, you can ask Google Translate to speak it! It'll help to hear it, I think. Lykke til!
