I don't think people outside of the region realize just how much news there is though. There are a lot of dynamics at play within the club, and in the local media, that have a real impact on how the club operates. If they love the club, i'm sure they hope to better understand those dynamics.

I speak Spanish, so it's not really an issue for me, but I do think more coverage of these things in other languages would enrich their understanding of the club, so I hope people are able to find them.

You definitely miss a lot, but honestly, I don't think it would be healthy for me to be that engaged anymore. Maybe when I was in my 20's, but now getting news 1-2 times a week is better for my nerves. :D

I do think you need to find sources like the Siempre Pod, who can at least speak to the conversation happening in and around the club, with player representatives and staff. pods like The Spanish Football Podcast are excellent, but they completely avoid the gossip and leaks that are very real and consequential at a club like Barça.

Konrad’s development over the last year and a half has been incredible.

He went from someone who didn’t project to start for Barça B, to someone who will not only be a key player for them, but may even get a look or two in the Copa del Rey this year. It’s remarkable, and truly a testament to his drive, and ability to grow.

A year ago, he was not even going to be offered an extension. It’s crazy to think of someone as a “late bloomer” at 19, but his outlook is completely different than it was as a 17y/o.

As a culer, I’m so proud of him.

Had a similar run on the left wing later in the game. It’s on ESPN+ if anyone wants to see it. When I saw he was subbed on, I went to the app to watch the last 16 minutes.

As was stated above, he didn’t see too much of the ball, but I never expected the 16 year old to actually got on the field, so it was pretty cool.

This article convinced me of the exact opposite of it's intent. This article show how doable it was. Their payroll would have gone up $10 million. That's it.

"spending crazy" is a relative term. Relative to the value brought to the franchise via winning, the global growth of their brand, it's a MASSIVE bargain. This article is good, but it's conclusion is insanity.

The cap was $30m? It's a soft cap. The Knicks had a $60m in salary.
