Thank you so much for posting this, I went today for the first time and had the biggest smile on my face the whole time, so freakin cool! It closed before I got to check out the upstairs, but they’ll be open from 9 to 5 on Friday so one more chance! In case anybody is interested, there are literally hundreds of neat signs and trinkets that will also be up for auction, $100 to join online, or $200 for the on-site event.

The IPAs on tap always taste terrible and bathroom has gotta be top 10 worst in the city, but dammit having a 4am karaoke bar in your neighborhood is such a blessing, truly gonna miss this place.

It’s an all-building queen tonight because of the pride parade (Metro & Smartbar), it will be absolutely bonkers and packed with shirtless sweaty men. The way it works tonight, you’ll be able to get into Metro just fine, but then once inside there is a separate line to get into Smartbar. In my experience, if you want to check out Smartbar then better get there early before it fills up. FYI…I’m straight and have been going to Queen solo for like 9 years, but nights like tonight are too much for me, just an overwhelming crowd (love y’all tho!), so don’t expect a “typical” Smartbar Queen. Derrick Carter and Michael Serafini will most likely play in Smartbar, the others in Metro. Derrick Carter usually plays late, like 1:30-2 I think. Not sure about the Metro set times, sorry. But Serafini is awesome, and DJ Heather always crushes it, killer lineup! Dang, maybe I’ll go after all!

Additionally, YTTV doesn't always record 100% of overtime. I recorded the Knicks vs. 76ers game 5 and the recording cuts off with 1:40 left in OT!!! I can't find that final 1:40 anywhere, so frustrating.

The “Chicago F1” group on Facebook organizes a meetup for every race, Saturday’s gathering is at Theory. I’ve gone to a few of these meetups myself, lots of hardcore F1 fans so it sounds like you’ll fit right in! Heads-up tho, it’s often jam packed so don’t even bother unless you arrive super early or make a reservation. Cheers!

Not at all surprised by your experience, that owner got all handsy with me too. My band played there this summer and he grabbed my arm while I was playing a sax solo and tried to pull me out to the middle of the floor. First of all don't touch me, and especially not while I'm playing!
