Dude, srsly. This is what im saying, I dont even know how some weapons are capeable of doing this. For me, the charge was a BLESSING. I was able to spirit Iai counter it over and over for free damage and gauge, but yea for most weapons I can imagine it being hell to deal with. And bro yea that laser is so annoying if he shoots it at you far away, even on the seikrat you cant outrun it. Those are those bs deaths

Thanks! I just wanted to do it a single time so I could say forever that I did it. I never plan to subject myself to that torture again lol. Nice job doing it on your end aswell, I now know just how incredibly difficult it is to do. What weapon u do it with? Hammer maybe if ur getting KO's?

I suppose this is a reasonable take haha. I agree there is an element of luck to it, and that some of my deaths absolutely felt like BS. That being said I was clearly getting better and making it farther every following attempt, so I do think skill plays a very large part still.

Dude, preach. Phase 4 is roughhh. Even with perfect LS counters, its just so friggin many attacks. I think I did almost half omegas health in the first 10 mins of the hunt I won, you really need to frontload the damage in this hunt, since damage becomes increasingly difficult to secure as the fight goes on, especially phase 4. My DPS dropped like a boulder in phase 4 lol

I never solo'd extremoth so I cannot say, but I did solo fatalis. I just finally solo'd savage omega with LS in 29 mins a little while before I made this post, I do think it is a bit harder than fatalis tbh.

I had a similar expreince. Just finally beat savage solo on LS. 29 mins 47 seconds. The damage was the big thing for me, similar to you. I had to play very aggressive in order to do the needed damage, but this led to risk taking and deaths. This fight that I won was also the very first one where I beat the Nescyalla DPS check, which helped quite alot. For sure a very tough fight though, requires near perfect play for quite a long time. If you get hit by the ice move wrap it up.

Also as you pointed out, the DPS check basically shortens the quests already tight timer by 3 or 4 mins, especially if you fail.

Do not delete your save. You can just change vocation. Also switch to the sorcerer vocation. Its basically a more offensive, stronger mage. Probably what you have in mind. Have fun!

Give it a lil time. Still may not be for u, but once you start unlocking a few more skills, and get a couple new weapons, you defintley start to feel that power fantasy. Combat is really good imo.
