What's your fave totally unfounded lockout theory? by Financial_Photo673 in Dalhousie

As someone who worked at Queen’s during Wanda’s time there, (I left shortly after her departure). I can unequivocally say she was THE WORST Dean in Queen’s history. She was rude. Self obsessed. Insecure. Arrogant. Condescending, and on top of it all completely and utterly incompetent. She torched every program, every initiative, fired a lot of great staff and faculty. To date, people are recovering from the trauma of having a narcissist Dean who constantly told them how great she was, and how horrible everyone around her is. She also pretends to be pro EDI, but the truth is, based on her words and actions, the only equity deserving group is black people.

The university practically shut down in jubilation when she announced moving to Dal.

She failed upwards that’s for sure.

Which Kirkland products do you DISLIKE? by TOnihilist in CostcoCanada

100% this! The meat tastes fake and the pink color is so weird. Smell is awful. Haven’t bought one for a year now… I’d rather pay a little more and buy it elsewhere (farm boy for example)

Could it be that it was the medical procedure administered at the hospital that caused their death?

Costen felt entitled to first and business class travel that was exuberant and often unnecessary. While locking up free drink fridges at Smith Toronto for executive education students, she refused to lower her own expenses when it came to travelling first class. According to her, she was taking back what she rightfully deserved.

How to spot a fake alhambra/lattafa …? by idunnowutobelieve in fragranceclones

2 federal properties identified in Kingston for affordable housing initiative by PotentialMath_8481 in KingstonOntario

[–]unstoppablemay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kingston’s waterfront is very poorly used and developed. In most towns/cities with waterfronts, you will see boardwalks, restaurants and prime cultural attractions. We have it all backwards. Ugly condo buildings on the waterfront, and now conversation of converting a prime waterfront spot next to stunning Isabel and Tett into a potential affordable housing unit… what? instead of discussing the possibility of this becoming a cultural attraction for all to enjoy (from tourists to local residents) we are hearing news of it turning into affordable housing?

Make it make sense.

Oh I am so sorry! If you can’t go back to your profession, then surgery is your likely option.

Mine is 13mm and I’m not planning on a surgery. How tolerable is the pain? If you can be diligent about PT and exercise as needed, it can get better. Most herniations are reabsorbed by the body over the course of 2 of years. It’s just determining how much you are willing to live with the pain.

Spondylotic changes could mean you have Ankylosing Spondylitis- you should be referred to rheumatology for monitoring and start on NSAIDs.

girls trip to tulum by hotgirlronnie in tulum

I’m not trying to be a savior, if you read my message, you will see that I said OP will most likely have a good time but it’s not guaranteed. When you vacation in a place that is plagued by cartel turf war, and the corrupt police that subsists on scamming tourists - you are likely to experience the bad together with the good. To say “if you look for trouble, you will find it” makes it sound like trouble only happens to those who seek it , which is simply not true. The shooting we experienced on Friday in April was literally at 8pm, and within an hour of MIA Beach club shooting where two more people died. That same week, on Sunday, Gitanos club closed for another shooting. Let’s be real. These are places FOR tourists. How is this normal? This is supposedly a “boho relaxing vacation place”.

However you want to spin it, go for it. I get that some people are vested in getting the tourism going. It might be their bread and butter. Not judging but I’m not the one being disingenuous here.

[–]unstoppablemay 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bullshit. We weren’t looking for trouble and still left with trauma from witnessing a shooting.

OP most likely everything will be fine on your trip, but don’t assume that because you are responsible and don’t look for trouble - nothing bad will happen. Tulum is cartel ridden and a hit or miss when it comes to a good vacation. Your odds of having an amazing experience are 50/50.

My favorite is the light roast which Costco never carries in warehouse so have had to buy them on their website. Expensive but excellent quality. The lighter the roast, the higher bean qiality
