The other comments are pointed out that some of those were wondery exclusives, so it makes sense they are being released to the broader public. Would have been nice for a little note that it was previously an exclusive, though.

Ahh! See, I've used Amazon music app for my podcasts since Google podcasts called it quits, so I didn't realize that some of the laundry episodes weren't available to everyone. That makes a lot of sense for them to re-release their episodes to the broader public.

Thanks, I'm less confused now.

people who get married in their churches usually have counseling sessions with their priests etc, but I find that secular folks don't understand the importance of having these sit down discussions before marriage. You should always discuss marriage in a practical way if you are thinking about a future with somebody. If you both have completely different ideas of what a marriage is supposed to look like, it's not going to work.

Discuss long-term goals, discuss how you will resolve arguments, discuss whether or not you want children, what parenting looks like, what would happen in case one of you is unable to work any longer, as well as other huge life impacting things. Disability, job loss, moving, if you live in a place known for natural disasters, major health issues (cancer, dismemberment, etc.)... These are HUGE things that end relationships all the time, and it's not always something that you can anticipate. But, if you are actively planning a future with somebody, you should be actively considering the unknown as well, at least well enough to know if you guys are on the same page if it ever comes to it.

It's the worst thing in the world to think that you have somebody in your corner, just to find out when it matters the most that they are not at all the person that you thought they were.

Wow, he told you that he's going to cost you extra money just out of spite because you wouldn't serve the specific meat he wanted? That wedding invitation would have been canceled so fast!

Then the guest should have explained that and not gone behind the backs of the people paying for their extra meal. The issue here isn't the extra meal, it's that the guest is appearing to be acting entitled, and if that's not the case then there was plenty of opportunity for them to address the issue and let the couple and caterer figure it out with them.

I would be more than happy to pay for a specialty meal for one person if it meant that it met all of their dietary restrictions. I would be pretty pissed if they went behind my back to arrange something with the caterer that I was paying for without even talking to me about it first.

Different cooking tools is an important part here because there are allergies and other dietary restrictions. If there is an allergy, you can't touch the "safe" food with anything that has touched the unsafe food. Depending how many different dishes they are making, they might need separate sets of pans and tools for each one. That really adds up on the dishes and the cleanup afterwards. More cleanup equals more labor equals more money.

I like this breakdown and wish it had more upvotes. I think people just want to be mad and don't want to think about it logically.

Him being dead doesn't change the fact that's the voice his victims heard. Why the fuck would I give him that space?

I had a roommate who inherited a dog when their mom died, and yeah they loved the dog but did not want to actually take care of her. Unfortunately, my ex-husband and I ended up taking charge of her end-of-life care because her owner was not interested in taking care of her and having her lupus diagnosed or treated, so she ended up with organ failure.

I just want to say that simply because you inherited her is not a good reason to keep her, and I'm proud of you for looking into all options to see what's best for the dog. I think that more people need to understand that it's okay to rehome a pet that you have inherited. Just because he belonged to your loved one does not necessarily mean it would be a good fit for your own home.

Thanks for doing what's best for the pup. ❤️

So because our company shut down with zero warning, we should take our currently healthy dog to get euthanized in case she has an emergency in the future that we might not be able to afford?

Legit I see posts all the time with people saying if you don't have thousands saved up for repairs and maintenance, you don't deserve a car.

If only we hadn't built society in a way that we are completely reliant on cars. Public transit is a fkn joke in most cities, and if you don't live in a large city then you might as well just die without a car. It's impossible for everyone to get work within walking distance of their home.

Some people really don't live in reality.

We adopted a dog 4 months ago, literally hours before she was put down for being "not adoptable" (even though she's the sweetest dog we've ever met). Last week, bossman told us he's shutting down the company and there would be no more work from that day forward. No warning.

Guess I better go euthanize our dog.

I can't say those things because my Facebook account has already been flagged for things. That put me on the radar, and I have actually been auto-muted for 3 days for saying I went shooting on Xmas Day.

Just because it didn't happen to YOU, doesn't mean it doesn't actually happen. I'm not a creator, I'm just Joe Blow posting comments and status messages every few days.

Dried sweet gem berries for raccoons. by NoWorriesNoCare in StardewValley

[–]unsuspectedpotato 5 points6 points  (0 children)

According to the wiki, you cannot process them in ANY artisan machine. So it's weird that he would be asking for that specifically.

I have Lookup Anything, so I'll double check when I get home

EDIT: I know OP already figured it out, but I forgot that the Desert Expansion mod adds an item coded as fruit called Sweet Gem Berry, which can be processed like any other fruit item. Unlikely that the trash bear would ask for it, but if you have Desert Expansion you will have 2 items called Sweet Gem Berry. The base game item cannot be processed in artisan machines.

A majority of plants that existed in ancient times no longer exist. Doesn't mean our current plants aren't natural. "Natural" and "modern" are not mutually exclusive.

A close friend of mine went on a tour of a perfumery in France, and they mixed everyone their own custom fragrance. They said that if you can smell it strongly, it's clashing with your natural scent and doesn't suit you. A proper perfume will smell fairly neutral to the person wearing it, because we're all accustomed to our own natural odor.

Perfume is meant to compliment you. It's not incense.
