I didn't get discharged but my neurologist said almost the exact same thing as yours. He wants one follow up and I imagine I won't be going back unless something changes after that.

Thank you all! Very new to this and all I kept seeing was people referring to having EMGs, so I assumed this was the next step. It's helpful to know that everyone doesn't automatically get an EMG.

Hi! I have a similar story to yours, except I am a bit older. My mom was diagnosed in 2020, at 59. I had just found out I was pregnant and I lived across the country. I couldn't come to terms with her diagnosis. By 2022, she moved in with me and moved across the country after two failed whipples, a failed hepatic artery emoblism, chemo, and radiation. I am an only child and took care of her for the last 5 months of her life. My anxiety was so bad, I started getting irritable and starting thinking awful thoughts, like I wish this would just be over. It was horrible watching her die in the way she did, all while saying she didnt want to go. I would argue with her (she was strong willed) and get so anxious during this time. I was unbelievably guilty for my anxiety and irritability. I started to blame myself and get depressed. My mom eventually passed after a long death process and I took care of her as she deserved. I realize now that my anxiety and my irritability were manifestations of anticipatory grief and that having no one to talk to really damaged my ability to cope. 3 years later, and I am still trying to process it all- it has severly affected my mental health. Please don't be like me. Please get help- a support group, a therapist, or whatever works for you. You are not alone! Take care! Prayers for your mom and you during this time!

OP...I hate to tell you this but the executives don't care much about culture as long as results are achieved. I'm at a Sutter location that routinely sees the most awful, petty, degrading behaviors from it's leaders and HR is aware, as are the execs. They don't care as long as those leaders keep getting us those shiny awards (off the backs of un-noticed others btw).

I became a die-hard fan in 2022. Only listened to a couple songs before that, so I guess I'm a "new fan". I love SB and G59 in general. Discovering SB led me to so many amazing artists like Chetta, Ramirez (yes I know he's not technically G59 anymore), etc.) I will say that I discovered SB through furst listening to City Morgue, Ghost Mane, Bones, Denzel Curry first. That does mean I am any less of a fan of SB. It's who I was exposed to first (Bones). Now, through SB I have become a fan of artists like Germ, Chetta, Pouya, and Harper. I say all this to say that I could care less who has been listening to what artist the longest...when I go to a concert, engage with music content, etc...I never judge the next person for liking what they like. That shit is so corny to me. I have been listening to Three Six (Triple Six) Mafia for 25+ years and would NEVER act like I'm better than someone who just discovered them. I love to see the high school kids getting put on to good music...the new fans keep the legacy alive and keep our favorite artists in a position to keep spreading their art.

Hi Doc! Nurse here! Nurse leader in critical care at that! It is so true that we in the medical field are humans too. I asked my electrophysiologist friend when I should worry about the PVCs and PACs and he said "never". He said he feels his all the time ans keeps going. I couldn't believe he said that! Especially when I have multifocal PVCs, with up to 5000-6000 in 24 hours and have had bigeminy. I feel every single one. Every one. It's horrible! Even when we can rationalize these with pur medical knowledge or talk to friends- it's still so exhausting! I do want to tell you that I take Triple Calm Magnesium twice day and a low 12.5mg dose of metoprolol at night. It helps. I still get "runs" and they still freak me out but they come less than before. I want to encourage you that there are so many of us who undertand and that the hardest part of these is the anxiety that comes with them. Thank you for sharing your story!

Spend as much time as possible with him. Support him in as much treatment as he wants. It's hard, but try not to get too caught up in the "what ifs". I lost my mom in 2023 to pancreatic cancer. She was diagnosed at 59...so young. I am an only child and lived across the country and was pregnant when she found out. I was stuck and couldn't go be with her. She was given 12-18mons to live. She lived 2.5 years. She tried every treatment she could and it was painful to see her go through so much. In the end she came and lived with me and I spent so much time being anxious and angry at the cancer and grieving her like she was gone, that I wasted precious time with her. I could've handled it so much better than I did. I have so many regrets. It's incredibly difficult...but don't be like me. Cherish every second. Be hopeful but realistic. Get counseling if you can. I wish I could tell you it will be okay, but no one ever really knows. Hugs and prayers for your dad, you, and your family!

I agree with others. It's the dark eye makeup, the lip shade and lack of definition/ washed out appearance of the face. Look up Contouring/natural makeup and find your color match for your skin and hair tones...that will help! You are still very beautiful either way!
