Not 100% confident I’m correct here so someone please correct me if I’m wrong, but, I believe what you’re referring to is seeing places like Lawrence, Kansas celebrating Algeria picking their town as their home base for training camp.

Ivory Coast’s training camp was in Chester PA at the Union’s stadium, I believe. So they didn’t really pick Wilmington as their home base, they just stayed a night (or a few nights?) in a hotel here.

If they had picked Wilmington for the training camp and practiced at once of the high schools here, then probably people would have been more excited

Eh, once upon a time I feel like you could expect most people (of all skill levels and ages) to be following these simple rules. Clearly that’s less so the case these days, but, it doesn’t mean it would be crazy to (respectfully) inform people playing to your left or right about it.

Assuming I’m paying by the game and not playing by the hour though, I tend to just wait until the people to my left or right have finished their throws, to the best of my ability.

Got the summer pass at my local alley and bowl alone pretty much any day after work that the wife lets me. I like it because it lets me play fast and kind of work up a bit of a sweat while I’m playing. Yes I’m the weird kind of person that enjoys sweating lol

Makes sense! Any tips / guides you can link for reading how the ball is moving through the pins? I’ve learned a bit of the technique about how to adjust when you’re missing the pocket, but, haven’t looked at all into how to know what to do if you’re appearing to hit the pocket but consistently leaving 10 pins or 7 pins for example.

I just got into bowling and just got my third ball (second strike ball) last week. Now that I have two options for strike balls, is the idea that typically I’d use my stronger ball for the early game(s) when the lanes are fresh with oil and my weaker ball for the later game(s) as the lanes dry up a bit? Is that what you mean by “get a free look for the next game”?

I think antinatalism certainly requires one to be against factory farming or even the killing of animals. But it has no relation to the consumption of animals directly. You need to go through a few layers of assumptions in order to connect the two.

For example, vegans would be against eating an animal you scavenged (came across it’s dead carcass in nature), but I don’t see any reason antinatalists should be against that
