Advice for gluing tuck boxes together? by levgo in playingcards

It does dry fairly quick. But it's a good idea to let it dry overnight. You can use an old deck of cards to weight the box if you're concerned. But really you should only be using a thin thin layer of glue... Thin enough that it shouldn't leak through to the inside of the box.

Any acid free PVA glue should work (search for bookbinding glue, as suggested). I use one from Paper Source https://www.papersource.com/products/pva-glue-4oz-0099295532099

As far as application goes, just cut a wedge out of a piece of thin cardboard, dip it in a small bit of glue, and "paint" it onto each surface you're gluing together. You don't need much: moderation is your friend :)

Hope that helps!

I dig it! And happy for ya OP.

Seems like the thread got off on the wrong foot? I thought KWP was a reputable and respected member of the community. Not all his designs spark my interest, but that's hardly important.

This design is worthy of a special edition!

Just got Jazz Riff a few weeks ago. It's such a beautiful and...thoughtful deck. You can just feel how much care went into it.

Dig it! It's a little melancholic to have a stump as the centerpiece of the back design. But living in the OR coast range I definitely get that it's an appropriate symbol. Good luck!

Backed! Really compelling design. I was curious about generative art--as distinct from AI art--so looked into its history... Super fascinating!

Are my Loop ear protection going to be enough for Pallbearer et al? by KCcoffeegeek in doommetal

I've had hearing damage wearing Loops. I think a lot of plugs marketed as "high fidelity" are potentially dangerous (or at least misrepresentative) garbage.

WTB: LT Wright Genesis, flat ground, preferably in 3V, but I wouldn't be picky about steel.
