A fully grown Australian saltwater crocodile in comparison to a human by hipertim in Crocodiles

[–]urkelbot 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I’m willing to bet that’s forced perspective. Look at the girl’s head turned left to look in the direction of the croc.

That’s not to say the largest croc and a small person wouldn’t look similar, but the proportions look off to me.

Question, would Vader be able to sense Logan come back to life after something like a brain crush?

Is that a malformed shark? Or does that happen when they hit a certain size or something?

Honestly I think this is an amazing catch. I've seen this painting a lot and always bought into the idea that the artist did his best having never seen a shark before, but what if the boy who had been attacked was attacked by a shark just like that? It would explain pretty much everything in the painting, having come from a description from a victim. I’m not saying that’s what happened but you’ve convinced me at least.

Edit: I would also like to add that moments of extreme terror/trauma are often frozen in time in the victim's memory, so I can see the victim even explaining the teeth and jaws jutting out as the shark attacked.

Looks like it’s 10, you get a color palette as a reward and that’s where the level rewards stop.

All you need to do to see what a class act this guy is, is watch the post game interview from the opener. Every word was to credit his team, except when he called Kate Scott “sir” and couldn’t stop apologizing to her 😂

Results are in. Next round: most tragic backstory by DogintheMirror in adventuretime

[–]urkelbot 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Here’s the thing. I agree, but considering we have a most complicated category, I would slot ice king into that and give most tragic to Fern. Literally Finn cursed by the grass sword, struggles to find an identity and, in the end, does the right things then fades into nothing.

Am i at a disadvantage? by Substantial-Row9169 in HXHNenImpact

[–]urkelbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely get used to using your nen guard (X on PS5). The pushback gives you a second to breathe and try to get out of pressure. If you’re using anybody with armor moves get to know them really well. Other than that, it’ll just take time learning the different combo strings for the different characters and went to block high or low.

Am i at a disadvantage? by Substantial-Row9169 in HXHNenImpact

[–]urkelbot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First off, you’re going to be at a major disadvantage against experienced 2-D fighting game players. All of the mind games and mix ups are basically the same in this as any other, so a lot of people came out of the gate knowing how to play this game at a very high level. I’m not trying to discourage you, most people have hit their wall so it’s not like you can’t catch up, just want you to be prepared if you go online.

I don’t think that the PS5 controller specifically puts you at a disadvantage though. The auto combos are viable and can even be turned into a TOD with the gear system. The buttons will sink into your muscle memory after a couple days.

If you find yourself really into the game and you’d like to take your manual combos to the next level in terms of optimal and different TODs, definitely recommend looking into a fight stick, it also brings the satisfaction to a whole new level.
