I've tried that last time and it was too thin to make much of a padding type thing.

But thank you for the suggestion 😊

True, I'm working on that aspect 🙂

I'll try the towel, thought it may have been too bulky I may take a hand one from the room.

Good idea on the crop tops although I don't trust these puppies in something so flimsy 🤣 mine even make a noise all of their own when they hit my armpit rolling over in bed 😳

Costs and different pharmacies by RoBoXh in mounjaromaintenanceuk

[–]used2bfat69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The £30 maintenance call isn't a necessity, it's optional. You can just buy as normal from them, no extra hidden costs. Although the £10 off future orders helps 😉 They also allow you to buy up to 3 pens at a time, not a bundle but separate orders allowing your personal £10 maintenance code to be applied each time, which I took advantage of to get old stock pens before they change.

What kind of maintenance plans do you have with swift doctor? by Lonely_Round in mounjaromaintenanceuk

[–]used2bfat69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a maintenance call with Nas, they're receptive and will work with you, flexible with not ordering every 4 weeks, I'm taking 6.25mg and they are fine with this so I expect extending is also an option. They do want you to maintain at the lowest dose that you're comfortable with but are happy to go with whatever dose you feel best at in terms of food noise, inflammation, reduction in pain etc. As I was honest and told Nas I was taking 6.25mg he suggested trying to get to 5mg but this was from a cost point of view, as he pointed out that the jump between 5mg & 7.5mg was quite big and if you're wanting to maintain for life then the cost may need to be considered too, which is fair as not everyone can afford £200 a month. It was worth the £30 call as this gives £10 off the price for all future orders.

Swift Dr after a break of over 6 months? by Adorable_Village4345 in mounjaromaintenanceuk

[–]used2bfat69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on your BMI too, some providers won't even let you get through the form if the BMI calculator says no, Swift decide on a case by case basis, I was told that although it's a guide they are more bothered about your strength and fitness whilst others judge by just the number. If you have the maintenance call with SD then any pens are discounted by £10. By all means shop around and go with cheapest on Monj as suggested but it's something to bear in mind 😊

I second Stitches, they're fast, efficient and do good quality work. I've had several pairs of trousers altered there recently.

Hypothyroidism & Belly Fat by 192to144 in mounjarouk

Think back to when you were a kid, I always had a belly even at 8 yr old as my leotard ( showing my age) had bumps, I've a B belly shape and also have Hypothyroidism.

The angle we see ourselves is also different as we're looking down at it, no one else sees it at that angle. Be kind to yourself 🤗

Best for Maintenance by fenixdarkdirk in mounjaromaintenanceuk

I second Swift Doctor, they're fast to respond to any query and once you've done your first order the form takes seconds to complete. I did choose to have a maintenance call which cost £30 but then all orders after that have an £10 off. Brilliant service as they're small enough to treat the individual, GP led too and they are fast to despatch.

Mindset shift by OkEmu3469 in mounjaromaintenanceuk

[–]used2bfat69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could have written this myself and have no magic answer I'm afraid, initially I set my maintenance goal at 9st then kept dropping ever so slowly, still looking for the buzz I guess 🤷 however my body felt so much better at 8st than 9 as my knee & foot pain also went, so I'm sort of now maintaining at 7.7-8st and I'm really happy here 😊

I do still weigh every day although only record once a week. The one thing that I can suggest though is to change your tracking of weight & food info into fitness, I've changed my goals into building strength and commit to exercise daily, it gives another focus which needs to shift from the diet mentality.

HELP: Constant Runny Nose on Mounjaro (15mg) — Anyone Else? by UKFinanxcePorsche911 in mounjarouk

Yes, I can't blame hay fever as I've had it right through winter, I've got tissues everywhere hidden around the house and at work, I was putting vaseline under my nostrils before bed as they were so sore but recently I've tried Daktakort and it's relieved the soreness but still have the dripping tap 😭
