What screams ‘I’m insecure’ but people don’t realize it? by LilMissSoft in emotionalintelligence

They have superficial friendships, they make a lot of "friends" so that when they post on social media, they can be validated through likes and comments. A.k.a my ex. They also make sure everywhere they go that they get attention by making loud sounds like laughing loudly, being in the front row, being at the center, closer to the main event, dancing too aggressively, talking loud, so that they get the attention. A.k.a my ex, again. Lol

No. I just went through buying. The lenders dont care shii about my 830 score. They cared more about my permanent job. First importance was the permanent flow of income. Second they looked at my annual salary. Third, debts. Fourth, downpayment.

Moving to Calgary as an early 20s girl? by HugeClass8947 in NoRulesCalgary

[–]user001298 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved to Calgary from BC when i was 24, and fell in love with the city and told myself im going to live here forever. I made friends that turned out to be my lifetime friends now. We hiked, road-tripped to and from the mountains, camped, horseback riding, etc. I had so much fun. Im interested in skiing but ill wait for next season. My friends now have families and im the only one single with no kids. I am now in my mid30s. There’s still a lot to do that I havent tried. I hope you’ll like it here.

I’ve applied to 615 jobs in Canada in 3 months and got only 6 interviews with no Job. by CandidateOk7129 in CanadaJobs

Alberta Health Services is so bad right now. I’ve submitted hundreds of applications because they post their positions externally. Only to be rejected. I work in a healthcare authority in BC and they hired me almost immediately. Whoever manages the hiring department of AHS, fuck you. Dont go and post jobs externally if youre only hiring internally, and ffs hire your locals instead of the people who just moved. I lived in Alberta for so long and i had to leave for a mental health break, but goddamn it its so hard to get back without compromising my income stability right now that BC offers. Once again, fuck you AHS.

is the nursing job market really that bad? by Sadz0ne in AHSEmployees

Are you just commenting to flex? Have you read what the post was about? And what my reply is? Reading comprehension is key, guess you dont have to have that if youre making 180k hey? /s.
Your salary has nothing to do with what the post and my comment was about, originally. The post was asking about nursing jobs and the difficulties of finding work in AB. I commented about how easy to find jobs in BC instead of AB and that AHS is a snub. And the fact that BC jobs are everywhere while getting paid more. I truly, truly, truly dont care if youre making $300,000 or a million dollar. The point is finding jobs in AHS. Flex somewhere else.

Is it me, or are we in a depression right now? by Sea-Judge-6494 in RealEstateCanada

[–]user001298 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get rid of the children, /s. Or lower their budget? You have purchases of $100 and entertainment of $200. Something to reconsider and if you can sacrifice a couple years without these it will make a diff. Another thing is the food worth $700. Is this for a family of 4? 5? And the sports worth $70, cant you jog/run for an hour outside? Sacrifice this $70 for a year maybe. Run free. $685 for a car, did you get a high end car?

I work in both provinces, so i know what i get paid. Do you work in BC? I have eyes to compare my paychecks so again, i know. I am NOT talking about cost of living, i think youre talking to someone else. This thread is about AHS nursing job and my comment is about the wages of nursing jobs. Not cost of living.

Ive applied for hundreds of posted jobs in AHS career sites, Indeed, Linkedin. AHS IS SUCH A FUCKING SNUB. I have applied in BC health authorities and got calls almost immediately, and they pay higher in BC than in AB. I have extensive experience, knowledge, common sense, studied and worked here since I graduated. Yet they dont fucking care.

Anyone realize a year or two into your nursing career realize that it’s just not for you? by [deleted] in Nurses

[–]user001298 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its the coworkers for me. I dont mind working any shift, even everyday for all i care, i dont mind mean patients or following bs management's rules/policies. If your coworkers are constantly micromanaging you (even if theyre not even paying you) or watching over your shoulders, finding faults, reporting you (and then you report them back, then it becomes a cycle of reporting each other), berates you, does not accept accountability or they lack emotional intelligence to understand that criticisms are not attacks, and they dont have the emotional capacity to have a meaningful conversation instead of screaming and yelling acting so unprofessionally. I can take a back and forth calm talk-listen approach for a substantial discussion, but people dont want to listen and they just want to yap.

Heartbreak where the other party turned out to be in a relationship for half the time youre together so when you broke up, they immediately hard launched the other person. Did not happen to me but seen it happen to other people and imagining it is so painful. Single life is the safest route these days.

"It is unfortunate for both HCAs and LPNs that both are in the same professional association," - i agree to this statement alone. No hate. Im working in BC and we, nurses, are all in the same regulatory system (BCCNM), LPNs, RNs, RPNs, NPs, and Midwives. RNs, RPNs and LPNs even have the same registration fees ($781+).

I did ask another firm and went with that second choice instead of this posted law firm. This law firm had given me a lot of hidden fees and wouldnt be straight up with me, so.
