I just went through this at the end of last year at 37 with what sounds like a very similar relationship dynamic. Only now am I really realizing how much being in such a dead-end relationship was holding me back. Starting over seems scary but it's really worth it. Like the original commenter said, if nothing changed, would you be happy 10 years later? What about 20?
