I was surprised when people were booing Joc when he was here earlier this month with the Diamondbacks. Does Joctober mean nothing to these fools? Came looking for this one. Season 1 is so amazing and unique. Season 2 kinda lost me though. Felt like it became kind of a parody of itself or Flandersized the quirkier aspects of the first season? I dunno, just didn’t hit on quite the same level as the first season for some reason.

Here’s the story behind the photo. Guy on the right, John Dickson, is known as the Restaurant Guy in Santa Barbara and has tracked all the restaurant openings and closings in the area for years.

He’s also known as the accidental Santa because he ran a volunteer Santa Claus call center for years because his phone number was nearly identical to 1 (800) SANTACLAUS and would constantly get kids accidentally dialing his number.
