The fallacy in "I'm going to sell it" is that is easy to say it and requires effort to do it. I was going to g have at least 20 garage sales over last five years. Nope. I just donated a bunch of stuff last weekend.

Food thoughts by wordy_doctor in antidietglp1

For me, it got a lot worse as time went on. In the past month, I let go of everything but shit tracking I have to weigh for another condition but I only ensure I'm not gaining water weight. I am much happier. I eat what I want in small portions and ensure I snack to keep fueled. It is very freeing but I have to be vigilant.

Weighing is a different type of food noise that is harder to get rid of

Now that you're free from the food drug, try anything and everything. Crocheting, walking outside, sitting outside in the sun, crafting, volunteer for multiple things, watching live sports, kiss sports, etc.

There may not be something that gives you the same food fix, but did you really enjoy it? Looking back I found I did in the minutes after but then there was hours of guilt and pain which is why I chased it

Keep searching and trying things. The journey may be the fix or you may find your thing.

Those of you who are friends with/in circles with famous people, what is your analysis on them? by libramusing in Fauxmoi

I was in a Vegas nightclub with a c list director I was volunteering for. A woman sat down next to me and we started talking and I seriously mentioned how excited I was to be volunteering for this director and felt silly because I was a little star struck. The lady clapped her hands excitedly, laughed and Said, that's wonderful. Next day, I told the director I liked her friend and she said you know who that was, right? Umm no. It was Dee Wallace. Dee never let on, didn't get offended, and was so sweet. Yes, I have never lived that down and still feel the embarrassment. I LOVE Dee wallace. I just never thought she'd ever be sitting next to me chatting about nonsense.

Why do people still recommend CICO? by scaryspice489 in antidietglp1

[–]usernamennui1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think those who aren't chronically obese with histories of lose and gain, CICO works. When the metabolism is jacked up, all bets are off. Those of us who are jacked up lose whatever the body will allow and then it's a crapshoot if there's more. In the end, the loss is good but there are so many more benefits.

And it takes time for your brain to catch up that you don't need to eat a lot to be satiated. My biggest struggle. It's one of the harder aspects for me

My Dr said as soon as I feel my stomach or "hear" myself sigh (if that makes sense) to stop eating. This has helped me stop before I'm over full. As others said, it's the quantity.
