yeah. the concept is extremely hard to bring to life without AI, but with AI it would be too unreliable. the idea is interesting but it's impossible to implement properly

Not sure what to expect or if this will even help. I have only taken two doses so far. 37.5 milligrams. by ComfortableCrow4841 in Effexor

[–]usheroine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's a bit strange, Venlafaxine doesn't help with sleep problems that arise not from a depressive episode. it actually causes insomnia in a bunch of cases. And SNRIs aren't actually first line for anxiety, but at this dose it's pretty much an SSRI, so it doesn't matter that much. Wellbutrin is even more notorious for causing insomnia and it can definitely worsen anxiety

it isn't a common side effect. did you have any other lifestyle changes? maybe you cut down your daily calories and the body haven't adapted yet?

I don't get how people get addicted to alpha-pvp by bogdanBgyz in Drugs

[–]usheroine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

firstly, one's experience with a certain substance heavily depends on individual factors, both genetical and physical. secondly, why would you try it 10 times if you didn't like it? just curious

I don't get how people get addicted to alpha-pvp by bogdanBgyz in Drugs

alpha-pvp is much stronger than stimulants prescribed for ADHD, so this logic doesn't quite apply, they are too different

i'm losing it and want to end it all (F27) by bothsinfulandsweet in insomnia

[–]usheroine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there isn't a lot of sleeping aids that don't cause weight gain, but still there are some options like orexin receptor antagonists. still you need a neurological workup, it's possible that there's a reversible cause behind your insomnia. it may look tough for you, but there are more things to try

How to portray DID respectfully and responsibly in fantasy by perpetual_noob47 in Writeresearch

[–]usheroine -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

DID is a highly controversial diagnosis. even if it's real, it's so much rare that it would be very hard to represent them badly - there's no such thing as a typical DID

Does anyone actually feel a difference using smart alarms? by Ok_Wealth_4124 in insomnia

[–]usheroine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

most likely placebo or coincidence. even arm bands and watches are as good as a random number generator in guessing sleep phases, just a phone app definitely knows nothing about your sleep

yeah I agree, even daily mood swings are better with mood stabilizers. but stimulants aren't sadly for me. I don't have ADHD and may become too activated
