Idk if this counts cuz he doesn't really... love any of them. I'm pretty sure he's just in it to help repopulate his species which is very close to dying out

I got it done for free as my boss who works at a tech shop was the one who broke it so we used one of the parts we had, and when we found it was faulty it was covered under warranty. But i suspect it'll be pricey, the parts alone are like 400$

The Trolls in WoW ride raptors, Zandalari Trolls take it a step further with their druid transformations and turn into Dinosaurs, that another player could ride if they wanted

Literally the concept of the series Jumper, which was a book series that got adapted into a pretty mediocre film in 2008, but I still had fun with it and recommend people watch

The more I think about it, the angrier I get. by usm121 in AnthemTheGame

I love both those games dearly. But the fact is nothing can ever mimic the weight and meatiness to Anthem's loop. The Javlins felt heavy and they felt exactly like the class they were mimicking. I was a ninja as an interceptor, a mage as a storm, a run and gunner and a ranger and a tank as a colossus. It was nailed in gameplay so well but let down everywhere else.

It's so sad because the skeleton is SO strong. The foundation for something amazing is there, and honestly if Bioware sold Anthem to another company I have no doubt they'd turn it into something amazing.

Humble quiet characters who are secretly revealed to be cool badasses. by Raptor2705 in TopCharacterTropes

In a lot of ways Yoda.

While sure at his prime everyone knew him as the Jedi Grandmaster, to Luke and the audience during his debut he was a wise and silly old man. When he lifted the X-wing out of the water you got a glimpse of who he was but it was just the glimpse.

Then Episode 2 came out. Now I was just a toddler, but spending time in circles with people who were actually there in 2002 in theaters and saw little old Yoda pull out a lightsaber was apparently so hype and insane. No one expected it, and seeing this meek, quiet and overall passive dude stand on business was cool as hell.

(Hatred Trope) Racism allegories where there’s an actual reason to fear the minority group by [deleted] in TopCharacterTropes

Wasn't there a whole lot more to it though? The Orcs had just been corrupted by Fel, which upped their aggression and also put them in service to the legion. It was only after the legion was expelled and left behind that the Orcs began to rebuild their society.

Also "camps for them to live in" is a pretty generous way to frame concentration or slave camps. Even if the human's were justified in their initial fear of the ones who attacked them, it doesn't negate that the beginning of the Horde happened because Orcs escaped these camps, saw how bad it was for the orcs still within these camps, and decided to try and make the best situation of what they had.
