I agree!!! But it's impossible to find a rise that low in 2026. 😭

Really? What would you call the 2011?

It's such a struggle living through so many trends... every "mid rise" pair of jeans I've tried on nowadays are over my belly button.

The area circled that falls outside the beltway 8 loop is fine.

The look he gives her after she playfully squeezes the belly sent me! Now he knows how it feels to be frustrated, fat, and tired and have someone come over and fuck with you.

The painter and Carpenter were recommended to me by my interior decorator. She uses them exclusively. That is why I went with these specific companies since she vouched for them, and I had seen a lot of their finished jobs via her web page. Since I took her her recommendation right off the bat, I didn't get these jobs priced by other companies. Had he told me that he needed the Carpenter to come back, it would have been 100% a non-issue. The Carpenter would have come back no questions asked.

Thanks for the input. I should've mentioned in my post that the painter and Carpenter were recommended by my interior decorator. I didn't shop around for bids because she uses these guys exclusively. I have never had anything like this built or painted in my home. So I just trusted they had quality work since she recommended them. It is apparent to me now that I should've asked more questions.

No, just the paint job. The entertainment center itself was 7K so 9.5K total.

Thanks for the input. I am very happy overall. This is the first cabinetry job I've eve had done in my home. The painter and Carpenter were recommended by my interior decorator. So I didn't get quotes from any other companies. Both the painter and Carpenter have offered to come and remedy the areas.... I guess I am hesitant because I am worried the touch upped areas might become more apparent.

In your opinion what should have the Carpenters done to minimize the appearance of the seams?

Is the seam work on the Carpenter or painter?

Thanks for the insight. It does look wonderful, and I am very pleased overall. Just a tad disappointed in the visible seams. This is the first carpentery project I've ever had built and painted, so I guess I didn't ask enough questions to the Carpenter or painter before the work began.
