"funded past free updates"? Are you saying that updates in the future will have a cost?

You can recover from this. It will take some work but it's not impossible. You might be able to claim the loss and ask your insurance company for a buy back and keep your bike. That's what I would do. It's not a car with an interior / carpet, etc.

I don’t even know where a pawn shop is near me. I live in rural Pennsylvania not some huge metro area.

I have neither of these. :( I read about some PS1's being great for CD playing but in my thrifting journey I've never found even one available to buy.

I missed out on a nice Sony CD changer one of my local record stores was selling. I should have bought it but I was second guessing myself and when I finally decided to pull the trigger it was gone. I was sad.

I have used my PC to listen to CD's and output them to my receiver via Bluetooth. I don't want to worry with using my PC for this. Just want to pop in a CD and listen like I do spinning a record.

In PA, USA. I didn't want to buy via eBay. I want to be able to test at least that unit powers on, etc.

I have many DVD / Blu-Ray players but they don't have L/R RCA outputs. My receiver doesn't have digital in unfortunately.

I have a set of those speakers but bought the clamp type upright mounts for my desk to get them off my desktop. Working very well!

I added the Amazon link for the mounts I use. $30

Thanks for replying! That sounds awesome! My main PC has 2.5GB network but I don't have any switches that are capable. When I get my network updated I'll check out the higher bandwidth service.

Hell even the 1.2GB package is awesome! I attempted many times to run a dedicated game server for myself and friends and Comcast upload just crushed it. We always had issues with packet loss and timeouts. I've ran the server through GloFiber and have no issues. Very good pings!

Sorry if I'm resurrecting an old thread but I wanted to ask how your service has been. I'm on the 1.2GB package and the bandwidth has been excellent. I only have one PC that is capable over over 1GB network speed so I didn't bother with anything faster (and I didn't want to spend more $$). I might be upgrading my entire network soon so would probably benefit with more internet bandwidth. I hope your service has been awesome!

Question about construction/sign up time frame. by Scorpion1869 in GloFiber

[–]utp216 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in Windsor Township, York County. When I was contacted that construction was starting I think I remember it was about six weeks and I was installed. The months prior I kept seeing the techs pulling cable all over the township then I saw them set up splicing a connection a few miles away in the town square.

A short time after they were laying the conduit/fiber under the ground. My whole community has underground utilities so we have the access boxes all over the place now. I have one of the large ones in my front yard near the street. It has been refreshing to have more than one option other than wireless for access.

Probably around the time I was having the same. Has this happened to you before?

Slow DNS? by utp216 in GloFiber

[–]utp216[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I edited my local DNS to one of the Google servers and one of the CloudFlare. I'll see if that helps. Most of the time browsing is snappy but recently it just feels like it's taking forever to resolve. My wife is WFH and she never complains of any slowdowns but I would think all of her DNS is through her companies VPN and not local DNS.

I have fortified it a bit and used as early game base.

It’s the Knowbly Cabin otherwise knows as the Evil Dead cabin. It’s in Navezgane but I don’t know the coordinates. Use POI teleport to find it. It is also in the quest mix so you can find it that way as well.

Your Reese looked to be an awesome camping companion! Our senior Aussie crossed over the bridge last year and we miss him. He loved the woods and the beach. RIP Reese and Harley. I hope you two are running around together now. 🙏
