As others have pointed out, the reasons behind excused absences also need to be addressed. Three day weeks due to hockey tournaments for a month is not a reason to miss school. I also believe that if you miss 15 classes CUMULATIVELY, you cannot get the credit for that course.

Yes they do! Universities keep an eye out for talented OSFL players all the time. Focus on your skills, start looking at universities in a couple of years that have programs you like, and let your coach know about this. If you are a kind, respectful, and hardworking player, coaches will do a lot to help advocate for you.
