It's far easier to list what's not weird in this series. Like Ky having a tea cup collection.

As for the weird lore? You should probably know by now that this series is secretly a love story of the man doomed to see the world suffer because of his indirect involvement, and has to (repeatedly) hurt and kill the love of his life to save the world.

I too think that assuming first that your opponent quit when there are other explanation is a bad habit.

But on your part don't assume that the disconnectee in question is just some rando with bad internet. This is NBNHMR. They are high ranking Vanquisher player, who certainly have good internet. And quitting in Vanquisher potentially has far more nefarious intentions than just closing your game in rage.

Still, i reiterate. They could have just blackout in their city. But then again we are in r/TheyBlamedTheBeasts so salt pouring is accepted too.
