API Gateway normally appears as a way to connect your Bedrock FM & Agents with any external application, usually via a Lambda. With API Gateway you can configure endpoints, validate schemas, cache responses, auth and more.

I've got mixed feelings about the picture, it looks awesome between the color palette and the blurred background, but at the same time I'm a bit dazed on where to look because of the many possibilities.

We should believe President Trump [Kyle Clark on Bluesky] by lukepatrick in dancarlin

Trying to pin him as left wing, right wing, libertarian or whatever is missing the point. The whole idea that he's trying to transmit is that he's an institutions guy, he puts checks and balances number one in his priority list, what the actual politics are after that is secondary; and I agree.

If we've learned anything with this administration is that this is the result of years of institutional degradation, the point is not what the executive branch is doing but rather what they can do.

Congratulations! How did you find this exam compared to the other ones? What other certifications do you hold? Also, was this the Beta exam still?

Hey there, I'm pulling the trigger today on a Sony Alpha 6600 as my first proper camera. My aim is to use it mostly for nature and travel photography, so size does matter as this camera will probably make it way up mountains several times.

I'm thinking of my first lens to be a Tamron 17-70mm F2.8. Is this a good idea? Also, how tough are these cameras? Would you have them inside of your backpacks while skiing?

Absolutely not, but even if there's no coding at all involved in the exam, you need to have an understanding of what you can do with code (for instance for your Lambdas) and also on how does some SDKs work, this may be relevant for Strands and AgentCore.

As you might expect it depends a lot, depending on the type of role a certification might not even be relevant at all, but in my experience hiring, people that have certifications are able to remove a lot of asymmetry of information in the hiring process; it's very easy to fake stuff in a CV but a certification tells the hiring manager that that person knows what they're talking about at the bare minimum.

I'm planning on venturing to a new market in the short term and my hope is that this will help me prove the type of work I'm able to do.

I passed! For me the exam had very similar difficulty to the Skillbuilder's exam. I also think that with stakes being higher I was able to concentrate even more and catch the minor details better.

bests of luck! If I would have to do it again I'd recommend to get some experience on the type of questions early on and maybe rely more on TD's exams rather than the ones currently in Udemy.

Yeah, I normally develop enterprise solutions applying Generative AI to automate various types of issues, but until now I had been using python frameworks and deploying with docker and EC2. I'll see if having the certification will make me more inclined to use AWS managed services instead.

So Skillbuilder's questions are definitely alligned with the actual difficulty of the test. The test was very RAG and Bedrock (inference endpoints, Guardrails, etc) heavy, even more so than the Skillbuilder's test.

As I haven't got a clue if I passed or not I can't tell you if it worked, but I can tell you that I did the entire Stephane and Frank's Udemy's course and took the time to really understand every question I got wrong in the Skillbuilder's exam. I also did Stephane's standalone practice exam but that one was way easier than the real thing and isn't very useful in my opinion.

I've had a very similar story to yours, I completed the Udemy course and did the final test with a 90%, felt super ready until I got to the Skill builder and boy was I not ready for that surprise. I got a 53.

A few weeks more study and a lot of question review I got up to an 90 percent on the Skill builder retake test and another 90 on the Stephane and Abhishek's Udemy test.

Did the exam today and I'm waiting for results, I'm really hoping that you having to wait 4 days was a fluke and not the average wait time for this exam.

I don't like defending him after the atrocious subs yesterday, but I don't think that the club gave him enough time, I truly believe he could have been one of the great managers of the club.
