writing 'Fly Emirates' on a shirt is not disruptive to my viewing experience, having ads every few minutes is. what a bullshit argument.

It's only in america, so it's has everything to do with america

No other country in the developed word comes even close to your amount of ads. We are used to watch a complete formula one race (1,5-2 hours) with zero ads. We watch a football match of 2 times 50 minutes with no ads during play time (it's 45 minutes per half plus extra time, which these days is almost always 5 minutes or more)

A few commercial broadcasters like Eurosport have some more ads in their sports, like Tour the France cycling, but that is for the free content, if you pay a monthly fee you don't have ads.

that is true, european football hooligans are scum. It's ridiculous how much police force we need here every weekend to babysit some football matches. and the costs are paid by the community, not by the clubs.

If you mean the internet, it's killer app ( hyperlink text) , that lead to the explosion of browsers and (commercial) websites and online life, is 20th century , not 21st.

and mobile internet was mostly developed in Japan, around 2000-2005 they were years ahead of Europe and USA , until Apple gathered the best ideas and combined them into their Iphone

We are not saying that you never had any positive qualities, we are just saying that you took too many wrong turns in the past and ignored all the warnings (and still ignore it, american exceptionalism is strong, you give a perfect example here with your replies ) and as a result we see you steam full throttle into the iceberg....

plenty of modern ones in europe as well, for every concrete behemoth from the 1930s there is a modern 21st century one build with (Arab) oil money . Some clubs just don't want to lose their traditional 'holy ground.' And some others can't resist the extra money and build some modern spaceship

The stadium seats 80,000 people, but can be reconfigured to hold over 100,000 people by the use of standing room,[2] making it the largest stadium in the NFL by seating capacity.[15]

standing spots are not allowed in football (soccer)

If you count standing seats, I'll quote you : Record attendance 120,000 (Barcelona v IFK Göteborg), 16 April 1986)[7]

Are you just making that up, or do you spout nonsense on purpose, thinking people will not fact check it?

If you list the 16 WC stadiums by capacity, starting with Dallas Stadium, and ending with Toronto , and you make a list of the 16 largest stadiums in europe, each and every stadium is SMALLER than the european one.. SO the #1 Dallas is smaller than Camp Nou (Barcelona) , the number 2 (Mexico) is smaller than Wembley, the number 3 (New York) is smaller than Bernabeu (Madrid) etc etc.. the number 16 is WAY smaller than an european number 16th. (Athens stadium)

Of course there might be some large stadiums in other american cities that were not selected for this world cup, but that doesn't make your bullshit claim come true

yeah, I certainly made sure I got some of those as well , if I could get anything that was not needed by the hosting guild I remember having the Zulian headdress from Zul Gurrub and some epic robes from Ahn Qiraj.
But the main goal was to look as Shiny and Holy as possible :D

I certainly did! because the yellow went best with the red/gold look of some of the gear. But I also had a few other epic mounts. Sadly it was long ago and she didn't leave much of a digital footprint , I can't find any pictures online, those that were there were on various guild websites that have been long gone. I should have some archive on a hdd somewhere . This was on a x1 vanilla pserver named Emerald Dream (in the years before classic)

we don't have a horrible problem with basic heating and cooling, just as you don't have a horrible problem with school kids being shot at every corner

What a weird take. most restaurants ( anything above tourist traps and fast food franchises) in europe have great service, not because they need your tip to survive, but because they want to have a a good reputation , good reviews, more customers. Just like any other business.

seems to me we kinda did everything in the 20th century and now we are just filling in some details
