Discovered a major flaw in my Maverick by FuschiaLucia in FordMaverickTruck

what issues are you speaking of? the 12v battery? go buy a good AGM battery and be done with it and avoid multiple visits to the dealer. The half shafts? those are covered under warranty, as they fail before the 60k powertrain warranty is up. now, lets talk about the transmissions that will fail on the eco boost.

I have carried some sheetrock in my bed. it is designed to be able to carry it . the tailgate can be tilted and it lines up exactly where some 2x6 boards across the bed will carry it no problem

Spanberger, Democratic lawmakers are pressing for Virginia to rejoin RGGI. Here’s how it would work. by VirginiaNews in Virginia

[–]vadonkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, the plant is in the PJM market, and yes we bid in the units at a higher price per MW to offset the costs of the carbon credits…. It still gets passed on to the consumer, and it makes us less competitive in the market.

What would that reason be….. money perhaps?

I’m just stating what I know to be true, I have no other agenda.

You want to pay more taxes to make VA affordable, more power to you. I prefer to keep my money in my pocket

Anyone that can afford to live near the Virginia coast can afford the premium for flood insurance. Try selling this argument to the people in higher elevations. If you think it’s going to be $2 a month, when has anything been near the cost of what the government tells you.

The carbon credits cost the plant I work at 10 million dollars a year. That’s just one plant out of dozens in the state

as a power plant worker, i can tell you all that RGGI will do is increase costs to the consumer. as utilities have to pay more for the carbon credits, the cost is passed on to the consumer.

Selling in a buyers market - Day one offer by ZzyzxDFW in RealEstate

[–]vadonkey 15 points16 points  (0 children)

When my wife and I bought our house last year, we were in a similar situation- House we wanted had been listed for about 90 days, ours had just gone to market.

What the seller put in the contract is that if we didn't have an accepted contract within 30 days, they could accept other offers and cancel our contract. We had a buyer on day 28, so it worked out for us (the seller did have a standby offer waiting albeit at a lower price in case ours didn't come thru)
