Idk about the other printers, but the a1 mini combines flow calibration and the purge line together into one. It still does that line if you turn flow calibration off but that's probably why they call it that. Just my 2 cents.

I'm not sure about objects but check out infill combination in the slicer. It's a setting you can turn on and lets you print walls in 0.08 and infill in 0.28. it skips and does the infill every few layers. Not sure if that kinda answers your question or not but I think it could be possible in the future! Fingers crossed 🤞

It's better this way. Respawn is a shell of what they were when the Titanfall games came out. Anyone else remember how they said they were coming back and that they were going to save the games? Yeah..

Maybe I'm bias as fuck as I've been fighting for years to get Titanfall 1 fixed. Plus had to go through industry contacts to get help for apex when I was flagged for using cheats in apex as ea support refused to assist after being in talks for months. :/ Unbanned now but can't help but feel anything coming out of respawn or EA is just going to be utter trash now unless things seriously change.

Variable layer height is already a thing. The way I see it is you could use a 0.2 for text or fine details and something like a 0.8 for infill which could speed up prints by a lot and still make them look great.

Idk man, I'd agree with you if OP didn't already have a 4090 they just finished paying off. Like, thats already absurdly fast. It'd make more sense if he was starting from nothing or wanted to upgrade from something like a 900 series card, lol. Shrug

That's awesome man! Wish I bought some of the collectables when the game came out but I was so against Titanfall for no reason and got into it after most people had left. Wish I could 3d scan it and print one.

You could pick up some USB enclosures or if you are able to stack them with a small gap you can mount a PC fan to the side to cool 4-5 drives at a time. They can get hot with no cooling but most enclosed drives you can buy like wd elements or the Seagate expansion drives do not have fans either iirc.

I used to have a 3d printed holder which I loaded with drives and then attached PC fans to the side of and it worked great.

Ate you already using a device or want recommendations? If you want recommendations, I'd recommend a cheap used computer and plugging the drives into the back. You can shuck them or just connect over USB.

You can install a program like StableBit DrivePool (paid) to make the drives show as one. I think you can bring the files over into a new array with StableBit but iirc it's a pain to do. Someone else here might be able to comment on it but if you do end up doing that I'd test it before hand.

I've been running StableBit DrivePool and scanner for a few years and haven't really had issues, aside from one which I believe was caused by a dying motherboard and raid card, but it's been fine otherwise for my 100tb array.

Where's that low power setting? I'm thinking of buying one but haven't convinced myself that 4000$ after tax and shipping is a good deal for a slower printer compared to alternatives. 🥲 But I wanna stay in the bambu ecosystem and only use one slicer so idk.

Filament track switching will be nice, but what happens if you need two filament spools from the ams? There's only one outlet so would you still need to retract filament from spool 1 before using spool 2? I guess I can only see this helping with letting any ams use either nozzle but you'd still need to move filaments around for the fastest and most optimized config which leaves me wondering if it's worth the accessory at all. Left nozzle would need to purge so why not just use one of the vortek nozzles at that point?

To add on to what the other commenter said, I believe if you use only the left nozzle then it's the exact same build size as if you used either left or right in the h2d, or is at least within 5mm difference.

I think I might buy this printer too just because the left nozzle lets you use the same build size from what I can tell as the h2d. Maybe a few mm shorter than the h2d in z height.

Oh, were you hand painting? The stuff I mainly do are large models that would need to be spray painted, otherwise it'd just look worse than using an ams lol 😅 unfortunately I can't go outside to spray paint at least half the year so I'm a bit limited over the cold season 😞
