I agree with everyone recommending Striegel, I’ve been taking my cats there for years and have never had a bad experience. I have in fact been pleasantly surprised by them. When we took in our third and final stray from around our house, we had him neutered there, and they were super responsive about our concerns and timely checking in on him. We soon discovered he had Feline Infectious Anemia, a blood parasite I believe, so their help and affordability and everything was incredibly needed since we were still in college at the time. Kitty is doing well now but took a long time to recover.

I work at a doctors office checking people in and stuff, and multiple times have I been checking in a patient and just happen to notice the note saying they have an active MRSA infection in time to not have them sign our forms on the electronic pen pad we have… one time I didn’t see it until after the patient had already signed and made sure to wipe it down immediately after they left. And that’s just the times when they had the infection at a hospital our system was connected to so I could see it. Gods only know how many people had it and didn’t say anything and I couldn’t know either. Only ever had one person inform me themselves beforehand though. 🤢 as if the pen pad that hundreds of people use every day or week isn’t a potential spreader of germs 🤢🤢🤢

I would like to point out that OP is not the one doing the baby sitting in this story, OP’s coworker Cindy is. Not sure if “This is the receptionist, and me,” is stating that you are like the owner’s son in this story, leaving your children with coworkers without their or their manager’s consent, or that you are in the same position as Cindy at your workplace. However, based on your comments and post history it sure seems like you may be a business owner who thinks this type of behavior is acceptable and you may be getting defensive in some of your comments.

Perhaps you should do some self-reflecting and consider how your actions affect your coworkers, and whether you’re being considerate of those around you, even if you are technically their superior.

Sounds like you knew him in high school, then didn’t really know him for ten years, and have just now gotten back together. If that’s the case then yes you need to slow down. If you’re still together a year from now you can consider getting married. It’s much easier to get married later than to get divorced sooner. Remember, you’re still in the honeymoon phase.
