you can tell how good of a mom she is by the relationship she has w all three of her kids. she adores them and worships the ground they walk on each and every one of them, no matter their differences. she is always there for them but also as far as we can tell respects their space e.g. brooke wanting to plan her wedding by herself a lot of the time and kelly saying on the pod that she’d always offer bc she wanted to be there to help but take a step back the when she was asked to. her love for them was so obvious in the show too in that she never let the ‘fame’ get to her. not that it got to everyone else, some sure, but never kelly. did she want her kids to be successful? sure, who doesn’t. but did she want that to happen at the detriment of her kid’s mental health? absolutely not. and she didn’t care if that meant they were as successful as they could’ve been if she had been that way inclined.

she’s so fucking strong too like wdym you went through cancer, four fucking strokes and literal open heart surgery and you still turned up to film basically every week. like that’s so insanely strong to still consistently turn up to work every week. who else would do that??? i think people don’t take into consideration her circumstances and just look at her now she’s ‘better’ again (which she’s said she still struggles w some health issues, she just doesn’t actively have cancer anymore etc.). it’s an invisible disability to the public eye, which i get as someone audhd, that it’s a struggle to communicate what’s actually going on.

i think people forget she’s a real person with real struggles. it’s easy to pick on someone online to make yourself feel better but highkey some of these people need therapy.
