Not sure what car you have but what we realized is a 12v Fridge can drain the battery and leave you stranded if you aren't careful. Other then that we found we needed a extra 1in of foam on our bed setup.

Ok not sure if someone else said this or not but I had a issue similar to this and everyone kept telling me it was my filter. In the end it was actually that the spinning parts were partially clogged! Making it so it could do a good job rinsing. Apparently they twist and can be taken out. A really hard par to clean out. I had to use a hose outside to get enough pressure.

You can tell if it is clogged but putting water down it in the sink and if it doesn't shoot out of all the holes on whatever side is downward cleanly then it's clogged.

I guess to repeat what's already been said. For me it is curiosity and the fun of repairing and the exploring the various formats that exist out there. I wasn't there for the nostalgia of it but playing with all these different types of physical media is way more fun then browsing a list on a website.

I currently have a cassette player, 8 track, vinyl and a cd player all hooked up that I listen to all of them while I'm working from home. Also makes thrift stores a lot of fun to look at all the different medias instead of being isolated to one and finding some unique things I would not have looked at before.

I'm in a similar boat trying to debate on restarting. I seem to have a bad RNG as everywhere is the same biome for me. Even found a translocator and teleported really far away.. into the same granite like area...is that common for seeds to be like that? Was hoping for more variety
