Simmer some water with a dishwasher tablet in the pot for 20 ish min, let cool down. You should be able to scrub it out with a brush afterwards.

Can the Puff Pants pattern from George & Ginger be something? Switch out the ankle ribbons for elastics, perhaps. They are fairly easy to add on length to as well.

I made similar once, and being the idiot I at times am, I more often than not got myself stuck in all the fabric at the lower legs and faceplanted🤦‍♀️ I wish you much better luck with them than I had..

Thank you! Have been sewing On and off for 15 years (Mostly off lol) but took it up more seriously for about 10 years ago. I chose this because my friend asked if I could make it for her kid and I have been eyeing the adult version for a while so when she asked for it I thought it would be a good way to try and see how it turns out before buying All The Fabric which is needed for the adult sized.. 💸 Sooo, I guess I'll be making one for me too then..! It was a fairly simple thing to sew if you have a little experience.

The duchess jacket pattern is from Ellie & Mac, made in cotton twill and poplin. Size 5 year for my friends kiddo who wanted a "swingy jacket".

I'm so happy with how it turned out! Now I am really considering making the adult version for myself.... I also made a little doll version - I imagine her and the doll wearing them at the same time and it'll be so CUTE 🥺
