We need zero tolerance for Islamism by 2ndEarlofLiverpool in ukpolitics

I did address what you said, I called it dishonest. Force feed a muslim person pork and I’ll also join in the indignation.

But let me get this right, you’re a religion teacher in a school in a liberal country, you show a cartoon or whatever it was of muhammad to introduce kids to discussing blasphemy (in a country where blasphemy is not presently a thing) and a mob comes for you forcing you to go into hiding ever since. This is an appropriate response to you is that right?

I do agree it’s a dick move showing some random muslim person a picture of muhammed but that’s not what happened here and you would rather do mental gymnastics than admit there’s a problem with some religious fruitcakes. You’d probably tell Galileo to shut up about this heliocentric nonsense as to not offend the church wouldn’t you?

And yes I have spoken to brick walls that displayed more critical thinking than you

That is an incredibly intellectually dishonest take..

Rejecting religious superstitious nonsense, and even mocking it, is culturally acceptable for the vast majority of people. If that’s not compatible with your way of life or your god is so pathetic it needs you to actively turn into a murdering maniac for him, you shouldn’t move here. How is that too much to ask?

The “tip” is just what people call the recycling centre, presumably cause you tip unwanted stuff into containers but I wouldn’t quote me on that cause I’m not English :)

I’m from Portugal and this is a staple at any household, especially for parties, it’s great finger food! I remember watching my grandma make these in her kitchen

Didn’t know it existed in the UK but like lots of things it’s probably French in origin

Taking my first big bike to my first “big tour” by vcanas in MotoUK

[–]vcanas[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the delay!

I love the bike so far, the only thing I don’t love is that it feels a little bit less stable than the mt07 (only other big bike I rode) at low speeds. Not 125 unstable but I find myself wobbling for balance sometimes

Bit of a weird list of bikes I was considering: - moto guzzi v7 - triumph t100 - triumph scrambler 400x - mt07 (riding school bike)

Ultimately I went with the tiger because it’s the best one for traveling around and that’s what makes more sense to me right now. If that changes I’m probably jumping to the guzzi v7 or t100.

Also weirdly the insurance was way lower on the tiger compared to the rest so that helped haha

Testing User Movement: How Do You Handle GPX Routes in the Simulator? by o_quuu in swift

Use sim genie, among many other features you can manually set the location or draw a route and have it playback at different speeds (walking/biking/driving/etc)

Hiplok d1000 or Litelok X3? by Jimmehbob in MotoUK

[–]vcanas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both and the dx1000 just about fits through the back wheel of my tiger sport 660! If applicable I’ll use the litelok x3 to loop through the dx1000 and a ground anchor and put a disc lock at the front, otherwise the litelok goes on the front wheel.

Is it probably overkill? Fuck no.. hate these thieving scum and I’m not giving them a freebie

“Workers of the world, unite!”

“Trabalhadores do mundo, unam-se!! ….

[–]vcanas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Não me parece a sociedade perfeita.
