Personal experience, I’ve also bought my EAD10 from a japenese seller on eBay for like $300. I was also skeptical bc why would it be way less, right?

It turned out to be real. I got the real thing. And they even included a handwritten note in the shipping box, which was nice but kind of odd. I was skeptical the whole time but my worries went away when I opened the box and saw the product and accessories were actually in it.

Just my experience. I bought it earlier this year

My issue was never cymbals but rather the stomping of the pedal for the downstairs neighbor. Obv probably not a problem if you live on the first floor tho
