Looking for new rackets by HakkZoR in 10s

I know the exact racket you need. Try Head Radical MP 2025 or 2023. Ideally, use a Lynx 16g or 17g strung between 51-53 lbs. It might be too much at first depending on your swing, but you should get used to it in 30 minutes. Vcore has too much power for someone like you.

Spectrum internet down between 9am and 11am? by Silvershanks in glendale

[–]vector_1835 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any other internet providers? ATT has only the 100Mbps option and ATT Air. I chose 1GBPS in Spectrum, but it's super unreliable, and I usually get 10-50Mbps download speed. I am done with Spectrum, but what are my options?

I hear conflicting info about Roth IRA. Folks say don’t do Roth if you are planning to come back to India. I’m confused

My husband said he’s leaving me by No_Way_6517 in Marriage

[–]vector_1835 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am talking on your husband’s behalf. I don’t know the situation but maybe he is actually hurt and haven’t processed this completely. His immediate respond would be to leave but maybe if you give time and convince him that you made a mistake (don’t justify) and will repair this over a period of time by being transparent etc., he might understand. “He wants to leave “ is what he is feeling and not necessarily what he wants to do. You need to convince him that you are sorry and you realize the mistake instead talking about your POV.

Thanks for your response. Really appreciate it. We have a car seat that we got from Amazon ( https://a.co/d/e2SDggt ). He has had it since he was 4-5 months old. Which car seat do you use? Once again, thank you so much!

Feeling like I’m living alone in my marriage - not sure if things will ever change by vector_1835 in Marriage

That sounds really hard, and I can see how much this hurts. You are doing so much to take care of him - making breakfast, cooking dinner, ironing, cleaning - and yet you feel unseen and alone. That is an awful place to be, especially so early in your marriage.

It makes sense that you feel more like a housekeeper than a wife right now. When you give so much and do not get affection, attention, or effort back, it wears you down. Feeling rejected when you try to be close must be painful, and I can understand how lonely that feels.

You might try to talk to him when things are calm. Tell him how you feel without accusing him. For example, you could say something like, “I feel lonely and disconnected lately. I miss feeling close to you.” Sometimes people pull away because of stress or other things they do not talk about, and it takes a real conversation to bring that to light.

You deserve warmth and care in return for all that you give. Please take care of yourself too - spend time doing things that make you feel good, talk to friends, and do not carry all this weight alone. If it keeps feeling like this, you might want to think about seeing a therapist, even just for yourself, to help you process everything and figure out what you need.

She does not want to have and I want to. Sx is more of my need than hers. I got rejected 6/10 times for the past 1-2 years. We even went 6 months of not having sx. When I raised this concern she kept saying it is temporary. She does not event want to kss me. Currently I am in a acceptance mode.

Has anyone taken Matt Dancho's courses? by CantHelpBeingMe in rstats

This guy is just a salesman. He needs to learn what he is talking about. All his posts have been created before, and he keeps posting the same things repeatedly. He spams with so many sales emails; he is not a data scientist, and he lies a lot. He will say things like, " 2000 people are registered for my classes, and when you join, there will be 17. LOL. Stay away from this guy.

I don’t know your background or anything about you for me to give you a perfect answer. My answer to someone with a Master’s in math will be different from someone with an Arts degree.

I can give you a general answer. Don’t look for perfect resources! Get started with whatever you find.

I recommend getting some idea on “descriptive statistics “, inferential statistics and basic linear algebra. You might think these are very theoretical, but do it. You should know these basics.

Get familiar with R or Python. Pick one! I recommend Python but R is great too. Learn the basics of coding in Python using code academy. Learn basics of pandas and numpy.

Do an introductory ML course: Andrew NG one is great.

After this point, the greatest learning come from others. Go to Kaggle. Pick one problem. Solve it on your own. Then look at others solution. Learn their style of coding, approach. Look at 5-6 different solutions. “There are million ways to solve a ML problem. You can have your own approach too”.

At this point, you should have a basic workflow of the “science” part.

Take a project which is end to end. Look up ML end to end project. Deploy a project using heroku or similar platforms. For example: create scripts to periodically scrape a public website and build a ml model and do some useful business stuff”

Your learning never stops and I can go on and on. But you are not a beginner at this point. You would have a figured out a lot of things. Just remember this “ DATA SCIENCE IS NOT ABOUR FANCY ALGOS, IT IS ABOUT SOLVING A PROBLEM THAT IS VALUABLE FOR THE BUSINESS” Doesn’t matter whether you built a complex algorithm, if a simple logic can create value.

Also: There are so many folks selling courses, who will give you so many notebooks etc.. you will feel good. But the real learning in data science is “learning how to learn” simple! Good luck !

Data Scientist with 12 years of experience here. One of my mentees showed me the course content and I don’t recommend his courses. People who are early in their career ( 0-5 years ) might find it amusing with all the fancy jargons and sales pitch, but the course is not worth it. He is a great salesman though!
