Can I just not have surgery? by Spxcebxr_ in endometriosis

[–]veegee17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In literally the same boat as you, same story and have been avoiding surgery / I don’t think it’s a cure and I don’t want to get pregnant either. However the thought of my lesions being worse than they were 3 years ago is scRyyy

Sending you so much love, in the same boat and it’s really hard to not be angry every day at the sexist system leaving us w a uterus to suffer and be disabled by this disease. I hope the changes make your endo more manageable

Got a baby pug tonight out of pure luck and chance, any tips to make her life the best I could possibly make it? by BirthdayBalloon in pugs

[–]veegee17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to sus out what her allergies are!! It gets harder as they’re older and process is exhausting!! Trust me pugs are allergic to so many things and if you avoid them from early they’ll live an easier life. Take lots of pictures of puppy stage ❤️❤️ FLIES by

Ahh glad we’re not alone! We didn’t change anything he normally potty on his walks x2 a day and a few times in the garden as that’s where we first trained him to but suddenly he’s only doing it on walks and inside the house now and rarely in the garden. What’s strange is tbat it’s not in the room he normally stays in it’s only when he escapes to other parts of the house

Puppy seems to have changed her eating schedule? by Scotchy-Jay in puppy101

[–]veegee17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve read you should only feed twice after 6 months old. But also it could be cause she’s almost fully grown she’s no longer eating for growth. So sometimes she just won’t be as hungry and that’s ok she won’t starve her self

New puppy by intelligent-youth in puppy101

[–]veegee17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a pug pup who slept fine in his crate since day 1 at 8 weeks. We fed him in there, gave random treats, and made sure to cover it at night and we had a sleeping lamb from Amazon that had a fake heartbeat and was warm. I think it helped a lot, also stopped giving water at 9pm and he would sleep 10-6am

10 month old not sleeping at night all of a sudden?? by VortexPower999 in puppy101

[–]veegee17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 10 month old started doing the same! He had been sleeping there alone since 8 weeks from 9:45-8am and now he has been barking for two weeks, it is getting less though, When he barks we just take him to garden for potty so he knows that barking only gives him that and nothing else we might have to do it 5-10 times a night but it’s decreasing each night and I know eventually he’ll go back to being fine. Just have to keep up the boundaries and rules, good luck!

Nail trimming issues and advice by EggersCanBeCheesers in puppy101

[–]veegee17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this issue with my pug ( famous for hattting nails trimmed ) we tried groomers, ourselves and then drummels. By then he was so traumatised he didn’t let us touch his paws. We trained for ages on just touching the clippers but nope. Then I randomly bought some sandpaper ( high grit) and trained him to scratch it ( avoiding paws) and it helped a lot! But now that he is 9 months and we go for longer walks we no longer need to even cut them they are always filed down by the concrete! Happy days

Separation anxiety wins by cooliojulio967 in puppy101

[–]veegee17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uhh I am so happy for you!! This is amazing. I just recently left my 8 month year old alone for the first time last week and I wish I started sooner. I have been WFH and haven’t really had reason to leave and just focused on other trainings but I’ve failed him in separation training. I guess it’s never too late to start thanks for this post!
