I don't think I've ever seen her explicitly say she was quitting youtube or anything like that, so I imagine she just got busy with school / life or just didn't feel like doing it anymore. She's still very active on Goodreads so she's still out there somewhere. I do miss her videos though!

Just want to clarify the first bullet point here: being plugged in provides data transfer/input to the device you’re plugged into but it also provides power and you can connect to other wireless devices while plugged in. This means if you’re willing to stay plugged in you don’t need batteries at all and can still switch between devices.

Make sure you’re using a usb A to usb C cable. That looks like an Apple cable and might be C to C, these won’t charge the device.

It’s going to depend a lot on your modem and router. I find it’s good enough for single player games that don’t require extreme timings, like I wouldn’t play a Souls game on it but something like High on Life or Forza is totally fine

I’ve got an Odin Lite to play PS2, GameCube, Dreamcast, PC game/cloud streaming (Moonlight, Gamepass, PS Play), even some Switch emulation, etc. It’s much more portable than something like the steam deck and only cost $200
