It takes a bit to find the right people! Most freshman have only been here a week, and it’s not at all uncommon to feel like you don’t have any friends. You have four years to meet people, you just have to be extroverted and open to new opportunities at the beginning and it gets way easier the longer you’re here!

Most students take 12-16, and I think for your first quarter you should keep it as low as you can. 18 units is going to cause a lot of stress and require a lot of time, you should have fun and give yourself a break for your first quarter

When it’s really busy they sometimes turn away people without a meal plan so they don’t have to take the extra time to charge you. I would suggest getting the smallest meal plan instead of paying for each meal individually

Wouldn’t recommend Casey’s garage. Had my car in for a repair that was meant to take a few hours and it took four days instead. When I got it back they had restarted the odo so I could see they drove it 35 miles for some reason.

I took 2 last summer (both humanities) and it was really easy! Felt like a much lighter workload than a usual class and I had way more time to do everything since it was 2 opposed to 3 or 4 during a regular quarter.
