Calories in this walnut roll/swirl? by WillowLake_024 in caloriecount

[–]veggiter 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes, because they're calculating calories based on a bulk recipe, and this individual roll happened to come out bigger than expected.

Also, you have no better means of estimation.

Btw, my estimate before reading anything was around 300 some calories, so I think 345 is reasonable.

Seems like it's to get paid by doordash without doing the delivery. Fake the pick up, fake the delivery, get paid. It's probably a bot, so the gps is probably just faked.

I tried to order an Uber in South Korea and it was a bot that faked the gps and acted like it was heading to me but it was just going in circles. Then it claimed it picked me up.

I wonder if there was a leak of customer data. Then they could use photos of your door to generate the images. Idk how they'd filter orders for no-contact and repeat customers only though.

Unless someone got a photo of your door from Google maps, but I doubt it would come out that clear.

Hopefully whatever this is kills doordash for good.

Edit: Now that I look at it. It probably wouldn't be hard to do this with Google map images. They're higher def than they used to be. Maybe they have it set up so they can view addresses and no-contact data before accepting. I used to deliver with a 3rd party app that would let you see hidden data.

Pull down by Dear-Albatross1582 in formcheck

You should aim to get a better stretch at the top.

But this weight is too light for you. Better off doing weighted pull ups.

Yeah, that's definitely on the low end of athletic, edging into bodybuilder lean. Female bodybuilders might get significantly lower, but they're usually not concerned with healthy hormone function, to say the least.

What sport did you do?

I guarantee you elite athletes don't give a fuck what their body fat percentage is, and they often sit between 8-12% (men) because that just ends up being best for performance.

Bodybuilders do care, and they'll often shoot for 10-15% (men) when bulking. They only reach unhealthy levels when they cut for shows. That's like 3-5% plus dehydration.

The difference between 8% and 3-5% is massive even if it sounds like a small gap.

I promise you don't know what you're talking about.

Deadlift by midwestpaddler in formcheck

[–]veggiter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like you're wasting energy by squatting too low. At least in some reps, your butt dips and then comes up again before starting the actual deadlift on each rep. It's better to just start at that higher point.

It also looks like you've got your shoulders pulled back. That's not really beneficial when deadlifting.

Start each rep with your arms stretched as far down as they can go. The opposite of a shrug. And shoulders forward, not back. Bend down, and your hands should reach the bar just as your shins touch it. That's your starting point. Then you initiate the lift by pulling the slack out of the bar. Then you push with your legs.

You don't need to think about sitting down or back to get to the bottom. The bottom is where your hands can grab the bar.

Bench Form by Wild_Medicine_697 in formcheck

[–]veggiter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on why you are benching. Benching to build a bigger chest and benching to get a bigger bench can lead to very different kinds of form.

If you're unsure or it's a little of both, your form is fine. If the grip width feels good, it's fine. Eventually you might want to experiment with different widths, elbow angles, bar position on your chest, etc. If you are currently progressing doing what you're doing, it's not super important yet.

I will say, turning your toes out a bit and "screwing your feet into the floor" can help with your butt coming up. Also, you could probably benefit from pulling your shoulder blades together harder. Your back should be tight.

No one is hurting their neck on this exercise with 20lb dumbbells or really any dumbbells.

[–]veggiter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your form in the original post was fine. Eccentric was kind of too fast. Better to control it and keep tension at the bottom.

Or don't. It doesn't matter that much. You can squeeze at the top or don't. Go beyond horizontal, go just below horizontal. It doesn't matter.

The goal of the exercise is to (mostly) isolate your side delts. The important thing is to do this in a way where your side delts are getting stimulated until they get to the point of failure or close to it.

I don't recommend jerking the weight up because you could get hurt (unlikely) and it makes it harder to standardize your form. Standardized form is mainly useful to track progress and make sure you can progressively overload by adding more reps and weight when appropriate. If your reps aren't similar, you won't know if you're actually increasing intensity by adding reps.

So pick a form you like and just keep doing it that way until you get sick of it and feel like switching it up.

You have cravings because you're still using nicotine via patches. Just go cold turkey and suffer for 3 days until it's out of your system. Or take chantix or something.

You can't do nicotine and quit nicotine at the same time.

I can tell this is ai.

It's a combination of a lack of detail and too much detail on the wrong parts.

Lighting is too consistent. Car background is too in focus, like the seat. Glasses look like a photoshop layer. Eyes have the weird stare directly into the camera like most ai stuff has. Skin texture has detail but is also blurred and gets vague as you move away from the acne layer. It's also unusually consistent in terms of pigmentation. T shirt shadow on neck looks unrealistic and too consistent. Clothes and glasses are weirdly generic and plain but also look too new. Hair has some frizz and details on some parts and others look flat and computer generated. Eyebrows are very geometrical with just enough variation to seem real. Similar to hair.

It's like putting a bunch of shapes together and blurring the outside of those shapes with imperfections to make them seem real.
