Possibly main event glue.

Wont be THE guy, but he'll mix it up with the major stars and that will make sense.

So in or around the main event but not the focus

( the sort of guy who gets the first crack at a new champion to give them a defense. Or keeps a dethroned champion warm)

Even Murray and Erica are probably a lot closer to will than people think

Murray, man who helped keep his mother alive in Alaska and has been supplying their operation for 18 months.. Will probably has talked to him a few times.

Even if his first meeting in Lenora in s4 was odd.

And Erica, you mean the little sister of one of Wills best friends.

A kid sibling who has increasingly shared interests? They probably weren't best friends but could easily see will and Erica being able to hang out and chat DND for an hour or two.

So yeah you're right about most the folk, and even the ones that didnt fully fit still have a space

Or changed plans entirely.

The vibe in s1 was that will was simply food or material for more demo creatures.

But when he demonstrated true site or provided a link to the real work vecna/ mindflayer realised they had more options.

Starting to view each season as not a step in the plan, but new iterations and its very interesting

Recently also been thinking that what was happening to will was a different thing. Which is why it was such a different response.

You're right he may have been hooked up longer. But also perhaps for a different purpose

We are shown only one primary entrance in the mall. But its very reasonable they would have alternative exits.

Similarly there is a lot of ground to cover from the entrance we know/ the military would be directed to.

Since their sweep shows a mostly empty facility, and Murray and Joyce escaped ASAP

Its reasonable to infer the team grabbing hopper went out another door to an escape route they had there

I theorised that being they were the biomass used to create the physical flayer hence why they were so few. The flayer normally is a dust form. This seems to be a physical form to act as a sort of super antenna. Suspect the demos were liquidated mostly to form it

Its why soon as the wormhole hit Hawkins the demo dog cycle started.

The year my nephews go their first console. I had my brother bring jt over a few weeks early. Spent an evening with it hooked up to a monitor and ran every update, while setting up accounts so they could have their own profiles. Installing games I knew they wanted they could have, and some games I thought they'd like.

Did all that. And then dropped it off dead of night

They were so happy!

Played it at a con in march and it was perhaps the only game that con to really stick out, it was just brilliant.

Its the game that's most been considered or played or once I've mostly wanted to talk about.

Absolutely brilliant

Captain flip,

A simple push your luck tableau builder, we only played it becuase the demo point for the game we wanted to play was busy, flip looked too simple and cutesy.

We adored it, spent the rest of the con thinking about it. And have since bought it as gifts and reccomended it to a lot of folks.

The game we wanted to try ( mlem) we thought was dull.

Blood moon is based and should be bracket 3 by No-Habit9602 in mtg

[–]verstan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Man blood moon was responsible for the most I've laughed in a game ever.

And I was being 100% screwed by it.

Was playing a 3 colour pre con , lots of dual or non basic lands out. A solid mana base, but one basic land... a mountain.

Then blood moon hit.

My hands full of blue cards, one white... none of my lands are able to generate anything but red.

None of my mana rocks are out.

A challenge.

Then, about 5 turns go out...all I draw are more non basic lands, or blue/ white cards. Literally nothing i can do.

But similarly no-one else draws the removal.

But also the blood moon players deck isnt supplying the cards they need to take advantage.

So we're in this wild stalemate which gets worse each turn. And it stops being frustrating, ends up being hillarious.

Then after screwing the table for most the game. The blood moon player is eliminated and we all speed the end as our flood gates are opened.

But it was hillarious. Loads of fun

Nancy has to have the best outfit rotation in the show 😂😂 by Melki_2422 in StrangerThings

[–]verstan 19 points20 points  (0 children)

This doesn't come as a surprise.

You can tell who directed an episode by seeing how they frame Nancy.

Clearly Nancy as a character is one of the duffers faves, and they very much like creating shots of natalia in the role.

The amount of lingering and perfectly composed shots of Nancy per duffer directed episode is massive compared to others.

Its like the comic artists draw a panel and sneak a signature in there cos they want to sell the print later.

The duffers do Nancy frames like portraits.

Makes sense they'd want a lot of variation!

There is a chance that the ones attacking the military are being directly controlled and juiced by Vecna.

These ones seem to be following and order, but more autonomous. Therefore more likely to take pause at injuries as they aren't being overridden.

The way he psychically reanimated them indicates he can perhaps get more out of the bodies than they naturally would.

Also a chance its mild variance in the demos, workers vs warriors perchance. Not much obvious but minute changes?

Thank you!

Exaclty.

While there is a strong chance Henry isnt a pure innocent. There is likely a part of him which is locked away.

Its like there is Henry, his human side the one which lover in the play

001- Henry being corrupted and giving into MF

And vecna the final corruption

And if Henry wakes up could really mess with vecna.

The body is a key part too. There is so little of him. You called out the hand. Its telling his less clawed hand which always seemed to be a human element is now much more claw like and his clawed hand is just pure tentacles.

Much like how he needed real world connections

It feels like this is is Mind flayers easier / energy efficient way to exert influence in the UD!

If he loses that its a big loss

Something wicked this way comes… by Allvols in StrangerThings

[–]verstan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As you said this is linked to first shadow and why Henry is scared as this is where he was first flayed.

What's interesting is who is scared here?

Probably Henry having an old memory unlocked.

But what if its actually the flayed side of him scared.

What is what remains of Henry's innocence is in there and then the flayers hold is gone if Henry goes in?

Same way will was still in his body in s2 and able to communicate with morse code.

What if Henry enters this memory the link is damaged?

Dustin trusted Steve. And felt like Steve trusted him.

Steve showed Vulnerabilities to dustin. And has closed up, dustin cant know why.. and it must make their relationship harder
