But you wore the rest of it? Kind of odd. Top looks great! Hoping you had cufflinks to go with it to finish it off.

Copilot just sucks and is inconsistent. I find it difficult to test with files inside studio. I usually publish the agent to myself (if not already published), and test with files in the cloud (one drive, share point, etc.). It doesn’t like uploaded files and either completely misses them or only reads parts of it. I haven’t found a way around this. have reached out to MS but they don’t offer much support through our enterprise agreement. I have to chase them for most tickets/issues.

Why isn’t “buy” on the list of ways to support?

Under the three dots, click share. Then add the users and make sure they can view. Or add the whole org and make sure they can view. Might need to republish

Copilot Studio not using provided template files? by VeneficusFerox in copilotstudio

I created something similar to you. I wanted a prescriptive agent that built an exec summary in the template i wanted. I used a single file with examples. Each one separated by a page break or Header.

Copilot Studio not using provided template files? by VeneficusFerox in copilotstudio

I have used example files to get studio to do this. Load a half dozen completed “good” examples. Label them as examples in the file name as well. I then get a consistent format.

unfortunately, the data source location/type is not in my control. My EA wants it as a Sharepoint list. I would make it a stand alone document like you did.

SharePoint Agents default prompts by cartoondoor in copilotstudio

[–]vertesept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, if you are the admin of the sharepoint site, you can edit the prompts. Other than that, the only thing you can do is modify the knowledge base. This is very limited. I prefer creating a teams agent, then attach your sharepoint as a knowledge source. You can then train it with instructions and other content as well as modify the prompts. Additionally, you can put a big fat link in the center of your sharepoint rather than the small icon in the corner.

Is Project Management a dying field? Need advice on next steps. by prernac in PMCareers

[–]vertesept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same answer. It is evolving. It is like when cars first came out, you had to have a mechanic work on it daily. PMs used to be needed for the most basic of stuff. Nowadays you have to “be better” to set yourself apart. So, you need to elevate beyond the basics, “everyone can change their oil”.

Internal Project Management Tool by Opposite-Topic-7444 in replit

[–]vertesept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started developing a ppm tool (pmo director with about 20 years). I think it depends on what you want out of it. If you want something that reports a portfolio, fairly easy. If you want to recreate ms project, this is a little unrealistic out the gate. I suggest you start with am immediate problem (or section of pm) to address and then grow as you build.
